Rocky D is hardly a bigot, lol, he is politically incorrect and we like him that way.
@Michael When countering a piece about how someone is bigoted, using a phrase that has a bigoted connotation as well isn't the best choice. You do realize that spade can be used as a racial slur against African-Americans? I'm not defending Chris, nor am I calling out Rocky D (I honestly never once in my life heard his show) Im just saying, not the best choice in words
Chris Haire is bigoted towards people he disagrees with.
Who was his competition?
Bigot....seriously? You just hated the fact that he spoke the truth and called a spade a spade. You miss the fact that not to many, and I can probably count on one hand, tell the truth and try to hold the Poli-pukes accountable.
So proud of my beautiful friend!!! She really does rock!!
All that Mayor Riley wants to do is annex all of James Island so we would have to pay city taxes along with our Charleston County Taxes. Then he would use the money to fix streets, buildings, Passanger Ship Terminals, Etc... in the down town Charleston Area. Let James Island be it's own town! The city of Charleston wants everything to get more tax revenue, Hell, they are even on Daniel Island. If people want to live in the city, then they should move leave James Island and move into the City. James Island needs to be it's own town in order to keep the history of it's beginning. May God Bless us All...Merry Christmas
Ken Burger writes what he wants, and I respect that.

Rocky D is great!
I have a home in the Charleston area and have come to know Raphael on air as well as in person and I can tell you he is the real deal. Along with calm, confident and warm I would add one more thing.. integrity. The reason we like watching him is because he is thoroughly likable, when the light is on and when it is not.
Congratulations, Christina! So excited for you!
Congrats !!! x
Congratulations, Christina!!! I'm glad I got to meet you before you get too famous. Someday I'll be able to say, "I knew her when..."
YAY! thanks to everyone who voted for me! :)
Joan is one amazing ball of loving energy. Her eye and her imagery add to "the collective stock of reality" in the life of the Lowcountry. Thrilled to see her getting this award! http://www.charlestonarthistory.com
Finally, someone said it! What really makes no sense is the City of Charleston's presence on James Island. And they're the ones fussing about too many layers of government! Charlie is great and the best part of it is we get to vote, too. Let this be the last term because the fat lady is singing.
