Re: “Glenn Beck coming to PAC

Why be open minded about ideas and policies which are outdated, deprecated, and discredited?

I mean, should I believe sacrificing virgins will bring the rain? No. Does that make me closed-minded? No. It just means that, like most people, I've moved away from atavistic and backwards ideas about the world.

There's no way you can say that conservatives are any better at being open-minded but, as an added bonus, they're typically just wrong about everything.

Re: “Glenn Beck coming to PAC

artrogue - most conservatives understand that, it is liberals who don't because they are typically not open minded. I, too, do not sit in front of Foxnews or listen to Limbaugh podcasts all day because I understand that getting information from a wide variety of sources makes it possible to have an informed opinion.

Re: “Glenn Beck coming to PAC

Contrary to the belief of some on here, you can be conservative and open minded. I listen to and/or watch just about everything I can. From Punkarama ( early 80's local music radio show) to Rachel Maddow, From Rush to Howard Stern, I certainly believe in freedom of speech and i like to hear what everyone has to say.

Re: “Glenn Beck coming to PAC

I'm saving my money for Rachel Maddow's "Your a dummy if you don't agree with me" tour.

She'll be headlining the Round Room at the Holiday Inn with a full slate of angry know-it-alls, including Keith "Does he still have a show?" Olbermann, and Client Number Nine, Eliot Spitzer. It's a four dollar cover charge happy hour show with a free taco bar. Not to be missed. Come early before the sour cream is gone.

Re: “Glenn Beck coming to PAC

artrogue -you are asking folks who are liberals to be objective and listen to what people are saying rather than blindly hate them without actually knowing their positions. You ask way too much.

Re: “Glenn Beck coming to PAC

Just listen to The Glenn Beck show for an hour. If you have great. Come on give it a shot. I think you will hear some points that you will see hes not what you might assume. In any case, Glenn is not a backer of Newt, at all,. In fact he is adamantly opposed to Gingrich, so i kinda doubt they would share a stage.

Re: “Glenn Beck coming to PAC

Maybe he should have Newt on his show, put him on the other end of the stage so it doesn't tip over.

Re: “Glenn Beck coming to PAC

Could you give me an example of Mr. Beck's "humor". I listen to his radio show occasionally and all I hear are his cronies and he laughing uncontrollably at their own remarks, but never anything funny.

Re: “GOP primary debate at Coliseum tonight

Nice try Maria. Sure, it's the liberal media that made Newt Gingrich - who talks incessantly about he is the candidate who will return the country to "traditional family values" - cheat on not just one wife but two! Divorce, adulty, sexual relations with employees under his supervision. The list goes on and on. And a record of what achievement? Aside from failing at the GOPs big chance in the mid 1990s, this guy has not achieved anything of moment. A lot of us worry about this one. He's an angry little man who is not mature or stable. He thinks he's smarter than everyone else in the room, and he'll tell you why. We all know someone like this; we go out of our way to not have conversations with him. Why in the name of God would we elect him President?

Re: “GOP primary debate at Coliseum tonight

The people of South Carolina have a chance to elect a true conservative or a moderate with a record that contradicts itself on every issue, or a man who likes to hear himself talk, who has angry outbursts and who has never shown true leadership skills, (go look at his record and see what people who worked with him said). We need the strongest conservative, and the cleanest record to defeat Obama. As to the guy still blaming Bush. Do your Research and find out that it has been the democrats all along lying to you and stealing tax money. The Republicans have never had total control of congress, ever. They have compromised with the Democratic leadership only to be turned on. America needs to wake up. Vote Santorum

Re: “GOP primary debate at Coliseum tonight

~WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! CHARACTER DOES MATTER!!!!!
WHAT IN THE NAME OF INSANITY ARE PEOPLE THINKING?
They are considering electing a man to be President WHO COMMITTED
ADULTERY ON HIS 1ST WIFE AND THEN DIVORCED HER!! Then he married his
Mistress and COMMITTED ADULTERY ON HIS 2ND WIFE MISTRESS with a House
of Representatives Staffer [23 years his junior] while he was leader of the investigation
into the Lewinsky scandal. THAT MAKES HIM A 100% HYPOCRITE!! Then he divorced his
2nd wife and married the Staffer Mistress as his 3rd wife. God says Adulterers go to Hell! [1 Cor.6:9]
And people are thinking this would be a PEOPLE INSANE TO ELECT ?? DO PEOPLE HAVE THE MORALS OF A DOG??
HOW CAN ANYONE ELECT A MAN WHO IS A HYPOCRITE AND DOUBLE ADULTERER
AND WHO IS UNFAITHFUL TO HIS WIVES TO BE FAITHFUL TO TO RUN A COUNTRY
AND BE PRESIDENT?
And don't bring the stupid argument, "Well, what someone does in their personal life and
professional life is different." WRONG! THEY ARE THE SAME PERSON!
WAKE UP FOR CHRIST'S SAKE AND THE SAKE OF THE NATION!!

Re: “GOP primary debate at Coliseum tonight

Looks like the only non-white person in that crowd was our closeted congressman.
But I've heard all of this before from the Republicans, in the 2000 campaign; vote for us and we will make everything all better.
Instead we got:
1. Tax breaks for the rich. Our national debt would be paid off by now if we hadn't let Bush and the Republicans bribe their way into office with tax cut promises.
2. Buildings knocked down by airplanes because the Bush administration was more concerned with pushing Christian superstition on us than protecting us.
3. Unending and expensive wars, both in money and the lives of our young military. Again, our national debt would be paid off without this nonsense.
4. A recession that bordered on a depression, that we are still feeling the aftershocks from.
I'll vote for Ron Paul in the primary, at least he will stop the foreign and drug wars, and President Obama in the general election.

Spread message - It is a wonderful one - RESEND LINK -----
Newt Gingrich has been very open about his past mistakes, REPENTED and asked forgiveness, long time ago ! DO not judge and you will NOT be judged ! Jesus is the WAY AND THE REDEMPTION ! Nice timing ABC. This is just another way the biased media is trying to push everyone towards Romney because they think he is the best chance for Obama to win. They know Newt would destroy him in the debates and expose his record for what it is.
