Re: “Blotter: Manicures in jail

Yes he was responsible, others would simply have done nothing and waited until the next morning to see if one of his neighbors was dead. You never made a mistake in your life?

Re: “Blotter: Crust in the nick of time

Now and again, we see ads on TV and billboard where the police are everywhere looking for people under the influence. Truth is, they wouldn't dare crack down on DUI's, public intoxication, etc. If the laws were strictly enforced, a sober society would result in a large number of LEO's being out of a job. And the impact would be felt in the legal and medical professions as well. So we, as a society, pay lip service where it comes to protecting our citizens, when in truth, the economy would collapse without booze. And our leaders are not really going to let that happen. After all, many of them are members of the Alcohol and Drug Cult (ADC) themselves.

Re: “Blotter: Undamming the dams

Street Law, we tried Prohibition once. It was a disaster. So many cops needed to investigate reports of illegal alcohol. So many shootouts by alcohol dealers. It was worse than the current drug war.

Re: “Blotter: Undamming the dams

Does it ever occur to anyone that if booze were banned, over half the police force wouldn't be needed?

Re: “Blotter: Thank you for stealing

It never amazes me that people can be so stupid. I just wish the Darwin theory was applied to so many of these morons.

Re: “Blotter: Come wake me up

Ha! You should see it from my end. 31 years on the job has turned me into a pretty jaded individual. Thank God I'm retired.

Re: “Blotter: Two-dollar box, y'all

Does South Carolina charge people for 'Theft by Finding'? I know in other states that failure to report a lost item that you found can get you arrested, but had not heard of that here in S.C.

Re: “Blotter: Those guys were blocking God

Jesus didn't have long hair, and He wasn't white, He was a Hebrew of ruddy skin color and had dark short hair like all Hebrew men of His day. it was a shame for a man to have long hair, and is so today. he was also short in height, most Hebrew men were in the 5'5" -5'8" range .

These pictures for the Blotter are racist. There are never any pictures of black people. It's always white people.

Is it me or does alcohol fuel almost the entire police blotter.

Re: “Blotter: Dying to sober up

Why did the police deem it necessary to enter a strip club when the alarm was at a neighboring business. Just to "look" around?

Re: “Blotter: Home is where the marsh is

My first job out of High School was at St Paul and over the next 5 years Iearned so very much. Seeing the hospital torn down tears a small piece of my heart out. The Daughters of Charity and the doctors and staff of St Paul Hospital will always be with me.
