Comment Archives: Stories: News+Opinion: Stegelin's Cartoons

Re: “Stegelin: Putin's inauguration wishlist

Interestingly on Sunday, President Obama did not discuss Russia's alleged meddling in the U.S. elections during his conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin

That's behind us, Obama told reporters during a press conference at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Peru. The President said he and Putin discussed Russia's air campaign in Syria and the Minsk negotiations regarding Ukraine.

Why not mention it? Seems like a very serious issue to discuss with another head of state.
....We all know. Its because he and Hilary and the rest of the DNC knew it was never true but just another lie to try to stick to Trump.

Wikileaks even said it was not the Russian Government ... but never let the truth get in front of the Liberal agenda.

Enjoy your civilian life, Mr President. :))

Re: “Stegelin: Putin's inauguration wishlist

we have so much more to be concerned about the country that OBUMMER just gave $170billon to than any alliances which may be made with Russia to defeat our common enemy fundamental radical islam . remember we were allies in ww2? without that we may have lost the war to the Nazis. wake up,grow up, see the real world,it's call pragmatism. choose !

Re: “Stegelin: Putin's inauguration wishlist

The New York Times (of all places) reported on an FBI investigation of Trump and any Putin / Russian connections prior to the election.
http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/01/us/polit…
NO connections were found.. which means not only is your cartoon not funny (typical) its also based on no truth whatsoever...which only serves to further divide us.

Re: “Stegelin: Woe vs. shade

it's only a matter of time and rational erosion that mothers will be allowed to "put down" children up to 3 months of age to protect the health of the mother ie. mental health, like post partem depression, which can certainly be VERY INCONVENIENT for some women.

Re: “Stegelin: Trump tales

Where's the Hillary cartoons? "I didn't send any classified emails" " Well they weren't marked" "Well no one will prosecute me" "Everyone knows 50 people the either committed suicide, were murdered, or died mysterious deaths, don't you??...happens all the time". Something like that...

Re: “Stegelin: How to not get shot by police

That guy is black? He's got straight hair. I at first assumed he might be Hispanic or Indian or something like that. Then I read the inscription 3. Don't be black. I mean, very few black men straighten their hair. Among women, it is much more common. But with such short hair, I assumed the person is male.
On the other hand, the cop looks more normal, he looks like a white male. Perhaps a white Hispanic, his hair is black. But his eyes don't look East Asian, but white. Maybe Mediterranean white, like Arab or south Italian, with that black hair. But still recognizably white. He could have a little black ancestry, or Indian, or something, but still, very predominantly white. Though no people are racially pure. But predominantly black men with straight hair must be extremely rare, except if artificially straightened with chemicals. Of course some people in India are extremely dark but have straight hair, but they are not called blacks, that is reserved for people with African origin. The very dark people of India are racially different from similarly dark people from Africa. Likewise some Australian aborigines are very dark and often have straight hair, but they are not typically called blacks, but aborigines. And of course very few of them have immigrated to America. Though in Australia they are often treated badly by cops, so it is similar. Quite a significant percentage of them are criminal, due to poverty, so many cops treat them all with suspicion, like many cops in America treat blacks. It is very sad, and of course in both cases it causes many of them to dislike police, and quite often not even report crimes. So Trump's advocacy of stop and frisk policies, like what has been banned in New York, but still practiced in some places, it is very dangerous. People should not be stopped when they are not doing anything suspicious, just because they look black or Hispanic or American Indian, or aborigine or something. That is not the way to improve community relations with cops.
So I agree with the general message of the cartoon, even if the specific situation is not realistic, the cop is close enough to recognize it is a camera, not a gun.

Re: “Stegelin: What do you have to lose?

Did you even do any minor research into the numbers Mr Trump used in the speech that your basing this cartoon on? Facts should matter.
What is the unemployment rate of African Americans since The current President took office? Has it improved?
What is the unemployment rate of African American Teenagers since The current President took office?

Dont believe the hype...The Clintons only represent one group. Themselves.

Re: “Stegelin: What do you have to lose?

why would you believe that? I think TRUMP probably changed some A.M. minds considering all he did was tell the truth.nearly all of the large metropolitan cities controlled by the progs/dems. have been a cesspool of violence, crime, broken families and the black/minority culture is the one most effected since they are the majority of the population" living 'on the socialist/progs/dems. plantation".THE GREAT SOCIETY the brain child of LBJ. really started the entitlement mentially of the black society. prior to that time the black family was much more whole . the dems/progs/socialist will do whatever it takes to keep their BLACK VOTE locked down to insure a nice big fat voting block. keep them fat, happy and stupid buy that vote. BOSS TWEET WOULD BE REEEEALL PROUD.

It's gonna be a landslide in November. Dems will take back the Senate for sure, and maybe even the House.

Re: “Stegelin: Bias all the way down

Trump "cusses" Gold Star families, American prisoners of war, American Generals, foreign heads of state a President has to work with, reminds 2A wackos they have violent remedies to stop Clinton (like is still alleged for Obama even after 7+ years in office) from 'taking away' their guns, legal and illegal Mexicans, Muslims, Black's who want to stop being hunted down and shot or jailed like animals, the 1st Amendment of the Constitution, encourages followers to violence and claims he'd like to "punch' dissenters at his rallies and speakers at the Democratic Nat'l Convention 'in the face", lies about Ted Cruz and his dad (the Kennedy Killer!), the Supreme Court, a respected American judge who happens to be of Hispanic descent, 50 former National Intelligence leaders, calls the Electoral System rigged, screws thousands of small and medium sized businesses out of $millions declaring bankruptcy 4 times while making $millions in profits, hires illegals to work his casinos, lies constantly, lies constantly, lies constantly, still accuses Obama of not being a US citizen (Birther, ha ha ha!) and a Muslim, dismisses the Speaker of his own Party and any GOP Senator and Congressperson who can't support his racism and misogyny, praises 2 tyrannical foreign Dictators who jail and execute dissenters, thinks women serve the nation best while on their knees making men happy, invites a foreign government to hack the computers of the leading Presidential candidates opposition Party, doesn't know Russia INVADED Crimea ... and the list goes on, BUT ...

The Clinton's stole furniture so Hillary is unfit for office!

HRC has been accused and investigated how many times (20, 30, 40?) and never been charged with any crimes. But yea, accusations prove beyond a doubt Hillary is a liar. I bet your wife cheats on you, so she must be a tramp, right? Or is that a Trump?

P.S. The House committee on government reform, led by Republican congressman Dan Burton, issued a report in 2002 that elucidated the many faults with the record-keeping processes for gifts and recommended reforms – and two items the Clintons turned in were actually returned to them in the end.

P.P.S. How many multi-million dollar GOP witch hunts, conspiracy theories, and false accusations will it take before Cheeto releases his tax returns? Yea, the rules don't apply to Cheeto. Cheeto Jesus come to save yo ass, Bro, so he gets a pass!

Re: “Stegelin: Bias all the way down

Trump cusses when he stubs his toe, and its all over the media. Meanwhile:

Wikileaks states that the DNC staffer mysteriously killed was the leak who released the emails saying they sabotaged Sanders. Very little coverage.

More emails that Hillary says never existed, released. Very little coverage.

Father of the Orlando killer seen at Hillary conference. Very little coverage.

Have we all forgotten 'Travelgate', 'Sniper fire in Bosnia', 'White house theft of $190,000', 'Whitewater scandal', 'Clinton Foundation Scandal', and the 'Tyson foods scandal'? Yeah, very little coverage.

But , no bias, I'm sure of it.

Re: “Stegelin: Donald Trump's first choice for VP

If you are, have or know of anyone in your family that is a member of the LGBT community, a Muslim, an hispanic, etc, a vote for this pair would indicate you care more for bombastic behavior than than you care for you or your own family. This pair will destroy pluralistic (multiple faith/ no faith) freedoms and will actively work to "christianize" this country into a virtual theocracy. We were almost there with the old "Blue Laws" where your only choices for something to do on Sunday morning was go to church or sit home because those religious "blue laws" had the state on lockdown all day. These oppressive laws are still in place in rural communities but pluralistic cities have dropped them in favor of REAL freedoms. Everyone gets to now enjoy freedom. Those who prefer to go to church and take their "day of rest" are free to do that. Those who prefer to shop or dine out are free to do that. And "Blue Laws" not withstanding, those who prefer to engage only in opposite-sex relationships and marriages are free to do that. Those who prefer to engage in same-sex relationships and marriage are free to do that. Those who prefer to worship on Saturday are free to do that. Those who prefer to pray privately are free to do that. Those who prefer not to pray are free to do that. Women who prefer to control their health are free to do that - almost. Women who want government to control their health are free to do that. But these freedoms are out the door if this pair become leaders of the free world with a finger on the "Button".
