Always a pleaser. Wholesome atmosphere for all ages. Good food. Good service. Fun place.
YUM...as a restaurant owner with knowledge of pizza, this place is FANTASTIC.I have no problem traveling from James Is for the Pork Trifecta. The whole experience with a wood fired oven approaching temps of 1100 degrees (or greater) is the contrast between the charred exterior vs the sweet, yeasty interior.Basically pizza is $1 an inch anywhere.By the time you order from a "chain" plus delivery charge& toppings, it's $1 an inch.If you go to a place that makes their own toppings, sauces, etc your still spending $1 an inch. Are you really getting your moneys worth at DomiPapaHut?????Support your local pizza joint.EVO is worth it.LOVE!
I've been to all three O'Brion's and have had nothing but good experiences. Staff is friendly and remembers your name and your drink of choice. The food has always been great - the Gamecock chicken sandwich is my favorite, but haven't had anything bad there. The staff also goes out of their way (physically and financially) to assist with fundraising efforts (both in the community and at their locations) for local charities or just people in need. All in all, you can't ask for a better neighborhood pub.
Great location, food's always great, bartenders are fun, very attentive and outgoing. Looking forward to football saturdays again at O'Brions!
Excellent food and service at both Mt Pleasant locations. I was recently at the James Island location for lunch, the food was quick and very good, my server was very friendly. The atmopshere is fun, locations are convenient, makes for a perfect place to watch any sporting event.
Great place to hang out with friends and make new ones...super guys and gals that work there. Can't wait to go back! See ya soon!
Best indie venue in town... best part... never a cover!
Beware of these negative posters. They are clearly written by opposing clubs that are trying to take the North Charleston customer base. You want a real review? Diamonds North is one of the classier clubs in Charleston. They have the best happy hour specials in town from 3 to 8. Dance prices are reasonable and they have specials running periodicly. Diamonds North has an extensive selection of girls. Diamonds is open from 3pm to 2am 7 days a week. Go there for yourself and you will see.
Skanks, sluts, and proper Charleston ladies of all ages, all side-by-side, mixed with boaters, fishermen, bankers and hedge fund owners having a great time in a relaxed atmosphere where you can truly be yourself and chill out with a $1 mystery beer and a $6 mixed libation and the breeze in your hair. Parking sucks, pissing is a pain (outside, upstairs, and easy to fall coming down after a few brews...), and deodorant is optional. It's my favorite place in Charleston!
Checked it out on friday night. The staff was very nice and the price of
drinks were good. But what blew my mind was the band. They are called
NORTH BY SOUTH.They had the place smoking with fantastic music.
I think they will be back soon this band is on the rise. When they do come
back check them out you will be in for a real treat.
i love shooters! friday nights and saturday nights are the best!!
This place is AWSOME!!!! My husband & I ate there the other night for the 1st time. The antipasto salad (meat, cheeses & marinated veggies) will blow ur mind!!! I had the shrimp alfredo which was hands down the best I have ever ate!! My husband had the steak caruso it was a mind blower too!! Each meal came with a nice side salad with a tastie italian vinigerette! So good! The bread & dipping oil was warm & fresh! We also had a bottle of reasonably priced merlot & the best cheese cake to finish up the meal. They also give u a ton of food! We walked out with two boxes. This is our new FAVORITE place!! In fact were going back tonight!! YAY :)
I went to Tristan last weekend for my birthday celebration with a group of friends, and my compliments for the dinner we had could never do the food justice! The food was phenomenal, and service immpecable.
We started at the bar for drinks, and never had an empty glass from the wonderful bar staff. Once we were seated for dinner, the entire menu sounded delicious. I chose to start with the beet salad, with whipped goat cheese, and pistachio pesto, and each ingredient was so fresh and tasty. For dinner, I choose the duck breast with truffle polenta, which I have to say was one of the best things I have tasted lately. Every member of my dining group was more than pleased with their selections, and the only complaint we had was trying to decide which starter or entree to try!
After dining here, I was appalled at the number of available tables, as Chef Whiting is certainly running one of Charleston's hidden gems. The food was fresh, innovative, delicious, and the menu changes with the availability of local products. I would urge anyone who hasn't been to Tristan to give it a try - it is definitely on my list of favorites now!
Great Staff and Good Food
Trivia night on Tuesdays is Terrific!!!
King Street Grill (Folly Road) is great!! The food is delicious! The burgers are tasty and cooked to temp and paired with lightly salted & peppered fries. The appetizer chx tenderloins are gigantic and lightly breaded but still give a crispy crunchy and are never overdone. The "make your own salad" can't be beat!
The bartenders are some of the fastest and friendliest in Charleston: Hands Down.
If you're looking for an unpretentious spot, with great service, great food, plenty of room and plenty of TVs, this is the spot on James Island to be.
Best Burger in Charleston. Seasame and Triangle have nothing on Grindz.
I love the food!!!
Thank you Vickery's! I am a local and dine at Vick's often, but this was my first time with a large group. I organize monthly dinners for a women's group. Our outing at Vickery's was one of our tastiest and most fun. We aren't the easiest group to deal with...we range in age from early twenties to mid eighties, a couple of women use walkers/wheelchairs, and most of us are downright picky eaters. But the entire staff at Vickery's took fabulous care of us. The kind British hostess helped our handicapped women into and out of the elevator and to our tables. She seated us in a corner section, which enabled us to get up and move around to chat with each other without annoying other diners. Our waiter, Chris, treated us like princesses! He made notes of our "salmon well done;" "no bacon/no cheese;" "don't add any salt;" "everything on the side;" "pink in the middle, but not red;" "no onions on the soup:" etc special requests without rolling his eyes one time. Our food was served promptly and each woman's special requests were met. All the food was delicious, as it always is at Vickery's. Everyone was happy with their meal. The manager was so friendly--he came by our table and spoke with us for several minutes, making sure everything was fine. Chris didn't even flinch when we asked for individual checks...and did I mention there were 23 of us? Vickery's is definitely on our group's repeat list for our monthly get-togethers. You can't beat it for price, quality, service and atmosphere. Thank you Vickery's!
Does great on covers like Citizen Cope and Bob Marley. And easy on the eyes!
