Went to Hall's recently with a party of six and I must admit, everyone had a great meal. Don't quite understand all the negative comments. One of the owners came by once to say hi but other than that no harassment like you read in most of the reviews. They are a little pricey, but anyone would no this with a little research..definitely would go back again.
Wow. These reviews are terrible. I have eaten at Halls over 25 times and have NEVER had a bad meal and have NEVER had bad service. The owners seem to really care about the end product and are very nice. All of my friends agree. This is the GO TO place in Charleston for steak. Khai Mahala
I love shelter it's a great place for younger people to hang out in Mt. Pleasant, the brunch is fantastic and the dinner menu is also really great. The drink specials are great too $6 crafts of mimosas yes please!
Went expecting to highly dislike this place (NOT a vegetarian) and left there in love! I can not get enough of their portabello burger. Their salads are all good - I tried them all at this point. I actually feel good about what I ate when I leave and not my usual "Ugh should not of eaten that". This is a well needed break from my usual dining and I try to go at least twice a week lately. I recommend their brunch to everyone!
Best dogs in Charleston, hands down.
OMG!!! D'AL'S new online ordering system rocks!
Chicken fried when you order it, fantastic sides, and syrupy sweet tea - what's not to like?
I really enjoy the pies. Zappo's is easily the best I've had away from NY or Boston.
Closest I have had to NY Pizza down in Charleston; streets ahead of Andolinis or Mellow when it comes to pizza. Just wish I knew when they would actually be open.
I am now re-reviewing Heart after returning since I heard they made some front of the house changes. I was pleasantly surprised to find AWESOME service this time around. I have never had bad food at Heart (always delicious but just painful service coming from a former food and bever), so I had to stop going after repeated bad service. It seems this issue has been resolved and we had a very nice server for Saturday brunch, I believe Duncan was his name. Congrats to Heart and thanks for giving me a place to eat on JI thats reasonably priced and has good, quality food!
Tried the rest ? Now come for the best.... Simply said
Their food is amazing folks - go eat some banh mi sandwiches! The porter marinated beef sandwich (can't remember the name) was delicious. As is everything they serve.
Best Italian in Charleston! Fulton 5 and Pane Y Vino are great, but family night on Monday is the best thing that's ever happened to me.
I went there when they first opened and was impressed with their selection of frozen yogurt, toppings, and price. Now they have sandwiches, like paninis, and even pulled pork (which my hubby and son love)! We get the combo which has a sandwich, chips, drink and an 8 ounce cup that you can fill with frozen yogurt and toppings for $7! We easily became regulars!
The best orchard I've seen! Big, ripe, sweet blueberries, and easy picking. Well worth the trip to Summerville.
I love Brown's Court! Everything I've had there has been incredible. The cookies are the size of your head, and each and every flavor is perfect. I had no idea one of my favorite cookies there was gluten free--it's that good. I miss Hope & Union as a coffee spot, but really enjoy Brown's Court.
Amazing creative artistic space!
Delish! Cafe mocha is awesome! Blueberry cream sodas are out of this world! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the owners are the best!
Healthy, delicious, fast food with the best cookies in the world and Boylan soda! So glad this restaurant is expanding to Mount Pleasant!
