Re: “Ike & Alice's

Chicken fried when you order it, fantastic sides, and syrupy sweet tea - what's not to like?

Re: “Zappo's Pizza

I really enjoy the pies. Zappo's is easily the best I've had away from NY or Boston.

Re: “Zappo's Pizza

Closest I have had to NY Pizza down in Charleston; streets ahead of Andolinis or Mellow when it comes to pizza. Just wish I knew when they would actually be open.

Re: “Heart Woodfire Kitchen

I am now re-reviewing Heart after returning since I heard they made some front of the house changes. I was pleasantly surprised to find AWESOME service this time around. I have never had bad food at Heart (always delicious but just painful service coming from a former food and bever), so I had to stop going after repeated bad service. It seems this issue has been resolved and we had a very nice server for Saturday brunch, I believe Duncan was his name. Congrats to Heart and thanks for giving me a place to eat on JI thats reasonably priced and has good, quality food!

Their food is amazing folks - go eat some banh mi sandwiches! The porter marinated beef sandwich (can't remember the name) was delicious. As is everything they serve.

Re: “Trattoria Lucca

Best Italian in Charleston! Fulton 5 and Pane Y Vino are great, but family night on Monday is the best thing that's ever happened to me.

Re: “FroYo in Paradise

I went there when they first opened and was impressed with their selection of frozen yogurt, toppings, and price. Now they have sandwiches, like paninis, and even pulled pork (which my hubby and son love)! We get the combo which has a sandwich, chips, drink and an 8 ounce cup that you can fill with frozen yogurt and toppings for $7! We easily became regulars!

Re: “Myers Blueberries

The best orchard I've seen! Big, ripe, sweet blueberries, and easy picking. Well worth the trip to Summerville.

Re: “Brown's Court Bakery

I love Brown's Court! Everything I've had there has been incredible. The cookies are the size of your head, and each and every flavor is perfect. I had no idea one of my favorite cookies there was gluten free--it's that good. I miss Hope & Union as a coffee spot, but really enjoy Brown's Court.

Delish! Cafe mocha is awesome! Blueberry cream sodas are out of this world! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the owners are the best!

My favorite taco truck, hands down. Cheap and extremely filling, as well as plenty of choices.

Re: “Baroni's New York Pizza

Great pizza. I very much enjoy this pizza. Not greasy at all and a good selection of toppings. Crust tastes just like mom used to make.

Re: “P.I.E. Bake Shoppe

Visited Paige's Incredible Edibles twice, will be back for many more lunches. You get a really tasty sandwich with a small side for less than $7. I've had the cherry chicken salad and the turkey mango sandwiches. Foccacia Pizza is next on the list.
