Re: “Lucky's Southern Grill

I am a fan of good food and friends have told me I ought to try your appetizers 'cause they are really good although I am not much of a big eater. Now, when it comes to really good musicians 'in my opinion', I'll frequent an establishment just for that reason. Jeff Bateman is one guitarist I have had the pleasure of listening to and he's worth the trip. Not sure who he has if anyone accompanying him, But will give it my best to come out this Wednesday 4/25/2012.

Re: “Lucky's Southern Grill

I have eaten at Lucky's several times, and have left there every time, full and happy!! The food is delicious, the servings are "large", and the waitstaff is very friendly and helpful, and always there when you need them!! Plus the owner, John Davis. makes his rounds thru the room quite often checking on everyone. Lucky's is definately a hit!! Its my favorite place for Sunday brunch!!! Great job, John!!!!!

Re: “Petticoats

We were looking for a place to have brunch and stumbled upon this place. The food was delicious and reasonably priced for the neighborhood (12 dollar steak and eggs?!) and the staff was very attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend the eggs Bernedette and the almond encrusted french toast. Phenomenal!

Best food for the price hands down.

Re: “Page's Okra Grill

I hesitate to write this. I don't want to go here again and have to wait a long time for a table...once people try the food...but i don't won't any negative reviews to be posted and that somehow scare anyone off.
Go here and try it. You won't be disappointed if you love local cuisine.
I've tried countless items on the menu since first stopping in and i've never had a bad item yet.
Go ahead and go anywhere in town for fried seafood..and pay 22 bucks for a seafood platter and i doubt it will taste as yummy as anything this kitchen produces.
simple food done right. choices of excellent sides. incrediable deserts what more can you ask for. Don't pay attention to any negatives and don't pay crazy prices ..this place has it all.
as far as the negative review of service..i've never had anything but excellent service so i really have no idea what thats about...actually even if the service is off on a day you choose to go don't worry about it cause the kitchen and the food is going to make up for any front end downside.

Re: “Tomato Shed Cafe

My favorite spot for lunch in the Charleston area!! Everything is absolutely delicious and well priced!! My only recommendation would be to add a few more tables and eliminate some of the freestanding displays. I think they have enough of a demand for lunch to do that!!

Re: “Tomato Shed Cafe

Just "discovered" this place last weekend & had lunch, my wife is now teaching school in that area. Unreal. Best crab cake (sandwich) I've had in my life (I've had a lot), excellent cuke/tomato/onion salad, and water/tea/lemonade for $7. Ended up buying some produce & shrimp (also reasonably priced) for dinner the next night.

We'll be back. Probably tomorrow.

Re: “Tomato Shed Cafe

This place has the best home cooking in the Lowcountry. Never a disappointment. The fresh caught shrimp (NO PRESERVATIVES) come in daily from their own boat.

Re: “Harvest Moon Lowcountry Grille

Quality ingredients and top drawer presentation. I'm now a regular.

Re: “Rosebank Farms Cafe

Best food on Johns Island! Try the Clemson Blue Cheese Wedge, the shrimp, scallops and grits and the triple oatmeal brownie. Any entree is worth it though!

Re: “Rosebank Farms Cafe

One of the best restaurants around! The food is fantastic and the waitstaff is very hospitable. I highly recommend any of the seafood as it is always fresh and locally caught. 5 stars all the way :)
