Taco Boy is the best restaurant ever! Best restaurant in Folly next to Woody's Pizza (right down the road). All these people complaining are whiny, overweight, cheap, tourists. Seriously all these out-of-state people are such snots coming to our small beach towns looking for a vacation like the Caribbean. This is Folly, chill out if your taco was salty. People live and die here, and you're here for a weekend complaining that we don't kiss your feet. People are just trying to live and chill out. Tourists need be respecting that. I don't even know why they're in Folly if they don't like Taco Boy. Taco Boy saved a Guatemalan orphanage from a pack of rabid Iguanas, how cool is that, right? If you want to be a bum don't go to Taco Boy. People are saying go to Taco Bell instead and all I gotta say to them is, yes, go. Because we don't need you to foul the atmosphere of Folly and Taco Boy. I've eaten dog food, and it was better than Taco Bell. All these tourists need to suck in their gut, and relax a little. Sorry we can't please your every demand and taste bud.
Tourist haters probably think I'm the manager or that I work there or something, but nope. I'm just a guy who found out that people are hating on his favorite restaurant in the world and I got upset. I just live here, man. You don't. I would highly recommend Taco Boy to friends and family of all ages and intellects if you want some fun and good food. Disagree? Your loss you condescending, patronizing, and socially exclusive degenerate. Eat at Taco Boy. Enjoy Folly. Stay Gnarly. Don't be a whiny grommet. Order the guac.
Kyle and Jessie are still the best. Shrimp po boy beyond excellent as is the ceviche, scallop po boy and lobster roll. Great oysters and real nice selection. I always start off my meal with a dozen. Still one of my favorite places to go for lunch.
We went to Trayce's on Saturday Night (19 Sep 2015) to listen to some Jazz and Funk by Louie D Project. The staff is excellent as well as the other customers. Louie D did not disappoint and we had a great evening.
Thanks for making our first visit to Trayce's a fantastic and memorable time. It felt like we had spent the evening with old friends.
P.S. - Order the nachos, you will not be disappointed nor will you leave hungry.
Great times. When are the 2015 dates?
Best escargot in Charleston. Great atmosphere!
Ate lunch today, the food was fantastic if you like good home cooking. Price runs between 7 and 10 dollars per person. Friendly staff and good service. I had the pork chop and it was great.
Great people and great service. I recommend highly.
This ia an awesome showcase of young raw talent. Losdahost is excellent. The talent is amazing. Everyone needs to see these hidden treasures of youth and expression. There is nothing subjective about the Art going on here is REAL Talent, and greatest forms of expression. Bentleys is great venue and appreciate them lending their venue to display all these artists.
I love this place. Never had a problem with services. Whenever I have people from out of town visit I always take them here for the duck club.
EVERY THIRD SUNDAY IS AWESOME. THIS IS A MUST ATTEND EVENT AUGUST 16TH DOORS OPEN AT 6:30PM.
i have been going here since they opened. i LOVE it! the service is always friendly and it is my favorite local hang out and they always have great music playing.
Excellent spot. The Bun Mi sandwich was perfect, with a nice steamed bun exterior, and bahn mi style pork inside. Their charcuterie is well made and full of salty goodness. I am glad they are downtown, and not near my house. I would gain way too much weight eating there.
The only problem I have with this place is that it's close to work, and after I eat there I don't want anything but a nap. Greasy goodness...

Camp Sewee was such a Amazing experience for my daughter. She was super sad when she had to go because she loved it so much. Even though she had eye problems there they still made her feel part of the group. She will not stop talking about her trip.
Best fried coconut ice cream with raspberry sauce, ever!!!
Every course was DELICIOUS!
Since Revelry has not yet been rated yet, I would like to start their rating out with an enthusiastic 5 star rating! Sean, Jay and Ryan have really done well by not only providing the craft beer drinking community a great place to hang out, but also providing a great lineup of quality, great tasting beers!! Keep up the great work!!
I don't get it. Why the complaints? This is not a fine dining place. It is a wonderful classic French dinner bistro; The kind I like to drop into in Paris. We are regulars, usually eating a salad frisee with goat cheese and Moules Frites. They also are known for their Suchi (a bit of a surprise). It can get noisy around end of work, hookup time and the service can be terrible on any of the holidays due to over demand and decreased staff, but it hasn't stopped me from going. If you want elegant and pretty food, go elsewhere and pay considerably more. Here time it well and eat well.
Rue de Jean is a Charleston classic that never disappoints. Downtown is so saturated with new and amazing restaurants that it’s easy to forget the ones who have been a fixture for such a long time. We were endlessly debating on which new restaurant to visit when we decided to pick a place we haven’t been in years. Rue fit that description.
Each of our courses came out tasting better than the last. The escargot, while straightforward, was delightful. The steak Roquefort was cooked to perfection, and the scallops were massive with perfect texture. The rich cream both served with the scallops was out of this world. Our server was a true professional, and the wine recommendations were spot on.
What is the point of this review? It is to remind those of us who have lived downtown for years to not forget the classics. There are so many new restaurants that have opened recently and it’s easy to fall into the hype trap while overlooking the establishments that have been producing a consistent and quality product for a long time.
