Nice English. Did you mean that you rue the roux?
We stopped in for lunch after touring Drayton Hall on our vacation. We wanted to eat somewhere local with atmosphere instead of at a national food chain. The BLTs were delicious, as was the potato salad! The waitress/cook was very nice and friendly. Great place to go!
And Rex Eugene Bolin needs to learn how to spell "roux" and write properly before you criticize it!
The cook needs to learn to make a rue. The worst Gumbo I have ever had. I would never eat here again. I order a 2 glass of wine it was never sever. The Coffee I had at the end of the meal was old and burn. Can I say more.
Good people, Smokey is a veteran and runs a clean place! I always have a great time when I go! And I feel safe as a single woman in a bar. The food is so much better than your average bar food! It is always hot and fresh when served. I ordered the special on Sunday evening, OMG it was really good! The wait staff are always friendly and quick to make sure you have everything you need. Blues Jam nights are great, fantastic musicians and good fellowship! Thank you Smokey for providing a first rate venue!
Excellent and true to French cooking and ingredients. Worth the trip to this bistro.
Dellz is awesome. Mozzo is good. East Bay is below average. Momma Goldberg is shit.
The comments section in each link is valuable; it would be wise to read through them.
Stopped in for lunch the other day. The beer list is a bit pedestrian for the food they're serving. Nothing great or amazing, but also nothing terrible. Staff was friendly and helpful.
great patio and great speakers
Definitely pass. This place has a weird identity crisis going on. It's trying to be a wine bar but country music and peanuts shells on the ground don't help. Sliced bread for a charcuterie is $2
This place is like the Donald Trump of restaurants.
Don't waste your time, this place is terrible. The one star is for the balls it takes to charge $2 for a side of mustard. I shit you not. Won't last 6 months unless they make major changes. To everything.
A whole lot better than Wells Fargo for sure!
Was impressed that the Big Bill Morganfield show started at 10:01 pm as advertised. BBQ fans had paid $60 to sample pig-pickin' competition food and booze from 6 - 9pm so the place was packed but I found a seat at the bar. That HAS to be the longest bar in town! Staff seemed well-trained and service was quick. Welcome addition to North Morrison area. I'll be posting photos on my blog at http://chuckography.blogspot.com.
I have been with Suntrust for 5 years .The customer service in the Suntrust bank has exceeded my expectations. Manager helped me get organized in a way that has helped me grow my business. I recommend that any young entrepreneur or start up to get signed up with their business banking services as it can be difficult for an artist/creative person to get organized. I also have an account here and I am very satisfied with this bank. Incidentally, if you are searching information about Suntrust bank you can find it here http://www.usbankinfo.com/about-suntrust-bank/

As promised - here is service review of Ansons - just our second visit - we were born here. Just the two of us for a special birthday on a Thursday night. Reservations at the right time and arrival on time placed us on the wall section as tables in the middle are for more than two - interesting if you are like me and want to speak with strangers, but if you want quiet, not sure if Ansons is the answer. The fellow in the suit said welcome in a pleasant manner, I introduced myself and asked - he said he was Mike. Up next to tidy the table (in the process he left us 1 napkin short) and annouced our server, as above he said he was Paul (all business). Later we found out the server was Robin. Very good to us - at first, but we were later taken from her attention to help a larger table across the way. The saving person was Brandon from the kitchen who had the task of bring us our food. I made sure to hand him his tip even though I also provided an 18% total to the bill, 2% short to make a point more to me than Ansons - the bill with tip was $175. Filet was not as expected, salty; Golden Tile, OK 3oz kinda slight. It will be another three years for repeat visit.
I have been going to Broad Street Barbers for over 5 years (since I moved here). The whole staff is great but especially Myrtis whom I have gone to exclusively. She is a great owner to boot!!. When she went out on a health issue she made sure that i was taken care and now I see Jen. If you want a great haircut at a great price by really friendly staff, Broad Street Barber shop is the place to go.
I never ate there until today and had a terrific lunch and unfortunately I'm a bit of a picky eater, especially when I go out. Everything that came to the table was excellent.
