Re: “Wolf Track Inn

Wolf Track will be smoke free soon, thank you Charleston County. Question is, do they deserve our business since they didn't go smoke free voluntarily?

Re: “Wolf Track Inn

Always liked the Wolf Track but since I quit smoking, can't do it anymore.

Re: “Wolf Track Inn

Was a truly fun evening when the Wiggins Brothers played about a month ago maybe late June or early July 2012. I hope the 'Track' will have them back soon.

Re: “Juanita Greenberg's Nacho Royale

Juanita Greenbergs is a jewel on King St. Its got a sign out front that invites a dog friendly atmosphere. The staff enures that the restaurant is kept spotless and sanitary, and food is delivered promptly to your table in virtually no time. Its a place where you can let your kids run around out back and play hide and seek, while you enjoy your favorite margarita in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. The patio area smells of Carolina Jasmine, as it is growing on the walls around the outdoor seating. I would recommend that anyone and everyone come enjoy this place. Also every Wednesday night one of the best female vocalists in town performs free to anyone who will listen, So come out and see Jordan Igoe and Friends. It will change your life. If you dont like the atmosphere clearly stated on the chalkboard out front, then go to McDonald's...lookin at you, Beth.

Re: “Juanita Greenberg's Nacho Royale

Juanita Greenberg's Nacho Royale was an experience I wish I had walked out on.
Our table at the King street location was not just dirty, it was filthy. There were at least 3 dogs in the restaurant. Children were running around and playing hid and seek with vacant tables. Obviously the children should be corrected by the parents, but the restaurant manager should be able to instruct its patrons to reign their children in.

Our server was negligent at best. Perhaps ADD? With the college crowd there, her thoughts were less on taking my order for my children and myself and more on adjusting her short shorts and posing for the frat boys. I think in the process she forgot to put our order in, b/c the food took a huge amount of time for a round of appetizers and a child's meal. We were seated outside and could smell garbage and urine smells. Why I sat through until the food came out, is obvious, I had a hungry family to feed and was not that familiar with the options in the immediate area. My daughter with leg braces can only walk so far at times. I am mad at my dumb luck for wandering into a dirty, dirty, restaurant that honestly didn't care if I was there or not.
Will NOT be back, will never suggest to anyone.. And it is firmly on my top 3 WORST in Charleston. Avoid.

Re: “Art's Bar & Grill

I've eaten there and it's honestly good and the best evening is when any night "Baby Fat" is rocking the joint. They are excellent musicians.

Really enjoy this coffee shop. Excellent, consistent coffee, friendly folks and when the weather warms up, the courtyard can't be beat with live music on the weekends. LOVE it!

Re: “Johnson's Pub & Pizzeria

Out of everywhere I went on my vacation to Charleston, Johnson's was my favorite. We had so much fun there, and the music and atmosphere was perfect. I recommend checking it out.

Re: “Muddy Waters Coffee Bar

Both Muddy Waters provide some of the best coffee and just plain good fellowship than those other places. Prices are right and the west ashley one offers great sandwiches. Visit one today!

Re: “The Mill

Argh,Old Blackbeard here to talk about me favorite subject.....Certain types of manure used to be transported (as everything was back then) by ship. In dry form it weighs a lot less, but once water (at sea) hit it. It not only became heavier, but the process of fermentation began again, of which a by-product is methane gas.

As the stuff was stored below decks in bundles you can see what could (and did) happen; methane began to build up below decks and the first time someone came below at night with a lantern. BOOOOM!

Several ships were destroyed in this manner before it was discovered what was happening.

After that, the bundles of manure where always stamped with the term "S.H.I.T" on them which meant to the sailors to "Ship High In Transit." In other words, high enough off the lower decks so that any water that came into the hold would not touch this volatile cargo and start the production of methane. You can fill me tip jar to show thanks for the info.
