Best indie venue in town... best part... never a cover!
NOT SMOKE FREE!
Another Mount P bar that has an open roll up door between the "outside" smoking area and the supposed inside non-smoking area.
Bad enough that they have slowly but surely been enclosing the outside area, but the addicts stand in that roll up door and blow their poison in at you.
If you wish to avoid second hand smoke, avoid Wild Wing Mount P.
I know I will.
Love the food but the service was terrible. It took 30 minutes for the waitress to take our order and another 30 for the food to come. Once we were done with our meal we waited 45 minutes for the check to come (which we had to track down the waitress to get). My wife and I plus another couple were there over 2 hours for dinner. We didn't mind so much because we were talking but service was TERRIBLE. We will not return.
skanks and sluts?? AWESOME!! I'll be there
Skanks, sluts, and proper Charleston ladies of all ages, all side-by-side, mixed with boaters, fishermen, bankers and hedge fund owners having a great time in a relaxed atmosphere where you can truly be yourself and chill out with a $1 mystery beer and a $6 mixed libation and the breeze in your hair. Parking sucks, pissing is a pain (outside, upstairs, and easy to fall coming down after a few brews...), and deodorant is optional. It's my favorite place in Charleston!
Checked it out on friday night. The staff was very nice and the price of
drinks were good. But what blew my mind was the band. They are called
NORTH BY SOUTH.They had the place smoking with fantastic music.
I think they will be back soon this band is on the rise. When they do come
back check them out you will be in for a real treat.
i love shooters! friday nights and saturday nights are the best!!
TERRIBLE SERVICE. They ran out of shrimp. Took an hour to get service, took two hours to get food. The portions were tiny, we all left hungry and paid $50 for 3 people. They werent even that busy. If you want to have a good evening, don't come to this place and ruin your night.
Great Staff and Good Food
Trivia night on Tuesdays is Terrific!!!
Who owns this hell hole? The people that work there are so rude and condescending! I asked two employees what the owner/manager's name is and they BOTH said "I don't know I just work here!" The food is mediocre at best and it's smoky, cramped and trashy looking/feeling. I felt like I needed a bath after visiting. I'll never go back to this nasty place.
The wings are small but have excellent variety of flavors which are all fantastic. If you go during a football or basketball game make sure you have earplugs. The TVs are cranked to maximum volume and everybody yells to be louder than the TV.
Tastes just like you expect wings from a bar to taste. Usually takes a while to get your food, and I mean, A WHILLEEE! But, if your used to the usual wing bar, with mediocre food, then you will enjoy it.
If this is an “Irish-themed bar", how in the hell could their advertisement in the City Paper for St. Patrick's Day misspell Guinness???? Is anyone else upset that many so called pubs spell Guinness on their menus with only one N? Please people help stop this madness, Guinness has been around for over 250 years and bars should know how to spell one of the world's most popular beers correctly! Shame on any pub that represents itself as “Irish” to disrespect the brewery and Guinness lovers, to all those poser pubs I say: Póg mo thóin!!!!!
Great little place... everyone is friendly and they have good music. Prices are good too
Skip it. Food isn't good. Waitstaff is not attentive. Overpriced.
REALLY???? IBG's music is ancient and their system sucks! You have got to be kidding
Great place to go for Beers and Music. Best part about this place is the Band, Bartenders, and Beers. It is not the best place to eat nor the best "Irish Bar" but the music and atmosphere has always made it ideal for me.
Love Wild Wing! Bring Thomas Tillman back !
This place is horrible. Don't waste your time or money unless you like dealing with a bunch of rude, drunk bartenders. This is one of those places that has no semblance of control, there is no one in charge, and the drunks just do whatever they please. If your not a "regular" you get ignored like a hole in the wall. This place is just another dive bar with really bad live music, mediocre food, and employees that do whatever they want. Its like a McDonald's with a bar. Take it or leave it, but if the bartender/server who waits in you is already drunk, well you just get to deal with it. Long waits for drinks, and wings that taste like shoeleather. Whoever owns and runs this place needs to take some hospitality courses and learn how to hire something other than the bottom of the barrel.
Re: “Madra Rua”
Great place to hang out with friends and make new ones...super guys and gals that work there. Can't wait to go back! See ya soon!
