Re: “Neil Jordan's Steakhouse

Love Neil Jordans. The Allen Brothers steaks are incredible. Atmosphere good and in particular, the bar area rocks, especially when Allen is holding court behind the bar. Allen is great at what he does and is the 2nd best bartender in a 2 mile radius!

Go one and you'll be hooked! Neil Jordans is a dining destrination experience-especially the bar!

Re: “Social

Great pizzas, great wine selection. I was actually surprised at their extensive craft beer selection as well. Young, hip ambience made for a nice change from other downtown restaurants.

Delicious, and an atmosphere for everyone--no matter what you're looking for.

Re: “Triangle Char and Bar

Innovative, fresh tasting burgers with incredible side options. Not your run-of-the mill Burgers and Fries.. unless of course that's what you want!

Re: “Boone's Bar

Great place to grab a drink with friends, extremely helpful staff and pretty good food (I was suprised how good it actually was). The place has a great feel to it and was extremely well done inside. Drink prices are about average but everytime i've been they have had ridiculous drink specials.

Re: “Closed for Business

Favorite bar in Charleston hands down, the ambiance, food, knowledgeable waiters/waitresses, and ever changing stellar beer list has led to my group of friends finding ourselves at CFB at least three nights a week.

Re: “Closed for Business

I love this place and could eat there multiple times a week. I don't really understand some of these comments, but to each his own. I personally love the food, the beer, and the ambiance, and I hope it sticks around!

Re: “Moe's Crosstown Tavern

Good people, good food, good drinks. Especially for those who love a neighborhood dive, this place is home away from home. Always a mix of ages and backgrounds and always a great time.

Re: “The Recovery Room

Boston and his staff make this the place to head to in whatever your attire. The patrons are eclectic, the drinks are awesome, Buck Hunter is the best and the shake weight Boston has behind the bar says it all.

Re: “O'Malley's Bar and Grille

O'Malleys is one of the better bars on upper king street.

The atmosphere is great, the food is surprisingly good, and the bartenders are very professional. I have been frequenting this bar for years and not even once have I had a poor customer-service experience.

This is my goto bar for NFL football. O'Malleys has solid food & drink specials during football games. This year it is $10 for a pitcher of highlife and a 1/4 lb burger.

Highly recommended

Re: “Boone's Bar

Honestly the best wings and burgers in town. Super friendly and accommodating staff. The 32 degree beer lines keep the beer deliciously cold, which is especially helpful with some of the spicier wing options. I particularly like the atmosphere of the restaurant; it's not too bright or loud or flashy, it just goes with the relaxed Charleston flow.

Re: “Al di La

We went yesterday for the Halloween party and had a great time. The food and service were outstanding. The patio was very nice yesterday as well. Highly recommended.

Re: “Music Farm

I really like the Music Farm. I read one comment about the sound being bad. I totally disagree. I usually try to get to the front of the stage for photography but the last 2 shows I went to at the Farm I was behind the bar. The sound was loud enough, and was very clear, could understand all the vocals. I moved to Charleston from Milwaukee 2 years ago and occasionally went to a cub of equal size in Milwaukee called The Rave. The sound there was absolutely terrible. For a club the size of the Music Farm I give the club an "A" for the sound. The list of bands playing the Farm is very diverse. I have seen the New York Dolls, Unknown Hinson, Drivin' n' Cryin', Drive-By Truckers, and Grace Potter and the Nocturnals - all excellent shows.

Re: “Coconut Joe's Beach Grill & Bar

LOVE IT! Our first visit to Coconut Joe's was a Father's Day 2010 treat from our daughter & her husband and we all had a great time! The service was great, the food was so good and what a lovely view with sea breezes! My husband treated me to dinner at Coconut Joe's for my birthday in August and again we had wonderful service & food. We also got together with my two sisters and a friend there and everyone was once again happy with everything! Our good friends from England came to visit this September and we treated them to a dinner at Coconut Joe's, and they loved it, of course we did too again! We are happy to let people know how much we enjoy the food and overall atmosphere ~ keep up the good work Y'all! WE'LL BE BACK! ^_^

Re: “Purple Tree Lounge

The Purple tree is a great place to hang out on a Friday night! The bartenders (Andy and Ethan) were very friendly and provided outstanding service. DJ Wendell had everyone going crazy on the dance floor.
