Re: “Finn McGoo's Irish Pub and Restaurant

A classic pub with all the trimmings, fine music, great beer (at great prices), and a friendly atmosphere where your first time in you are treated as a regular.

Re: “O'Brion's Pub & Grille

I've been to all three O'Brion's and have had nothing but good experiences. Staff is friendly and remembers your name and your drink of choice. The food has always been great - the Gamecock chicken sandwich is my favorite, but haven't had anything bad there. The staff also goes out of their way (physically and financially) to assist with fundraising efforts (both in the community and at their locations) for local charities or just people in need. All in all, you can't ask for a better neighborhood pub.

Re: “O'Brion's Pub & Grille

Excellent food and service at both Mt Pleasant locations. I was recently at the James Island location for lunch, the food was quick and very good, my server was very friendly. The atmopshere is fun, locations are convenient, makes for a perfect place to watch any sporting event.

Re: “Diamonds North

Beware of these negative posters. They are clearly written by opposing clubs that are trying to take the North Charleston customer base. You want a real review? Diamonds North is one of the classier clubs in Charleston. They have the best happy hour specials in town from 3 to 8. Dance prices are reasonable and they have specials running periodicly. Diamonds North has an extensive selection of girls. Diamonds is open from 3pm to 2am 7 days a week. Go there for yourself and you will see.

Re: “Salty Mike's

Skanks, sluts, and proper Charleston ladies of all ages, all side-by-side, mixed with boaters, fishermen, bankers and hedge fund owners having a great time in a relaxed atmosphere where you can truly be yourself and chill out with a $1 mystery beer and a $6 mixed libation and the breeze in your hair. Parking sucks, pissing is a pain (outside, upstairs, and easy to fall coming down after a few brews...), and deodorant is optional. It's my favorite place in Charleston!

Re: “King Street Grille

King Street Grill (Folly Road) is great!! The food is delicious! The burgers are tasty and cooked to temp and paired with lightly salted & peppered fries. The appetizer chx tenderloins are gigantic and lightly breaded but still give a crispy crunchy and are never overdone. The "make your own salad" can't be beat!

The bartenders are some of the fastest and friendliest in Charleston: Hands Down.

If you're looking for an unpretentious spot, with great service, great food, plenty of room and plenty of TVs, this is the spot on James Island to be.

Re: “Vickery's Bar and Grill

Thank you Vickery's! I am a local and dine at Vick's often, but this was my first time with a large group. I organize monthly dinners for a women's group. Our outing at Vickery's was one of our tastiest and most fun. We aren't the easiest group to deal with...we range in age from early twenties to mid eighties, a couple of women use walkers/wheelchairs, and most of us are downright picky eaters. But the entire staff at Vickery's took fabulous care of us. The kind British hostess helped our handicapped women into and out of the elevator and to our tables. She seated us in a corner section, which enabled us to get up and move around to chat with each other without annoying other diners. Our waiter, Chris, treated us like princesses! He made notes of our "salmon well done;" "no bacon/no cheese;" "don't add any salt;" "everything on the side;" "pink in the middle, but not red;" "no onions on the soup:" etc special requests without rolling his eyes one time. Our food was served promptly and each woman's special requests were met. All the food was delicious, as it always is at Vickery's. Everyone was happy with their meal. The manager was so friendly--he came by our table and spoke with us for several minutes, making sure everything was fine. Chris didn't even flinch when we asked for individual checks...and did I mention there were 23 of us? Vickery's is definitely on our group's repeat list for our monthly get-togethers. You can't beat it for price, quality, service and atmosphere. Thank you Vickery's!

Re: “Huger's Place

I have been frequenting this establishment since I was a student at the College of Charleston. They have a great lunch buffet with all the soul food staples and it a very affordable price. The people are extremely nice and courteous and the food is outstanding. It has a great atmosphere and they have many events with jazz and reggae which I love as well! Check it out>>

Re: “Huger's Place

I have had nothing good things to say about my experience at Huger's. We work downtown and eat there all the time. It reminds me of Alice's, but with a more jazzy, and soulful flavor. The food is second to none. Except maybe Hannibal's on the Eastside.
