The reputation of the Oyster Festival has been getting poorer and poorer over the past few years. Why go all the way over there, sit for hours in traffic (in and out), pay an incredible price for just a few oysters, and wait in long, long lines for the honor of being fucked? Save the trip, go locally, and have hot oysters and good beer that dows not require a mortgage on your home?
Absolutely disappointing! Where to begin..... First each year the selection and prices for USED items is insane! Stains, rips, buttons missing, zippers then guess what... to bad, no returns or exchanges. And the kicker....No children under 12 unless they are strapped down to a carrier? Good luck finding one of those for a 7 year old! Sorry to tell you people, but the messiest children are the ones strapped down in a stroller! They are the children eating and grabbing your "precious" inventory! I have never in my lifetime been to a place for children's items where your child isn't welcome. Absolutely insane! This is not stated on their webpage. Honestly they would probably sell more of that junk if they allowed children (by them begging for toys etc). No money out of my pocket. I will never go back there, ever! I will choose to spend my money where all children are welcome! If you allow any children at all, all children should be welcome or no children at all. Absolutely insane!
I doubt the editors would appreciate AIncest being mean to Ms. Lentz just for giggles. Stay classy. Folks like you are the reason nobody likes James Island.
Breathing from your mouth doesn't grant you the right to spray slobber on the lot of us. Tuck your shirt in, learn some manners and stop embarrassing your family.
"I simply put Town of James Island in the search engine and this is what came up."
Sounds like JI needs to hire someone to do some artisanal SEO for them.
I'm available. And pretty cheap.
Thank you for your input. I simply put Town of James Island in the search engine and this is what came up. However, I will try again to see if more information is out there. Your opinion on the "putting down of old people" is enlightening, although rude and condescending. Read it again when you get more experience. You may change your mind.
Have you tried the actual website of the town as opposed to that of a free weekly 'news'paper?
Another example of why old people should just be put to sleep.
Is this a chop shop?
Went here with my brother and wife to set up an appointment with Robin, wife places her down payment of $40 for next week, my brother and I email our tattoo ideas. Robin doesn't show up to his appointment, luckily they were able to transfer it over to a brother shop. 3 weeks and 4+ phone calls go by and they haven't responded to our email. No apologies. Taking our business elsewhere. Art work seems great, costumer service not great.
wow! what a lame bit of self-promotion.
What a shallow thing to say. "One of the top Philosophers?" Must you rank thoughts and people in linear arrays. Why does everything is the US have to be an ordination? Can't it just be "interesting" ?
I was just wondering if the name Gage Hall on the front doors are covered for any reason or is it just temporary? Your answer will surely be appreciated. Thank you. I remain Shane Gage.
Is there anything like a haunted house experience for 10-year olds and 6-year olds besides the Haunted Hay Ride we do every year? Just curious. I heard of the Amy's thing but it looks like it's for 12 and over. thanks!
I truly enjoyed the photography class. I have always been fascinated by the field, but never could find a good book that gave me a basic understanding of the fundamentals of a camera. He really enjoys teaching and gives positive constructive criticism. I highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to improve their techniques, plus he is an amazing talent! IT'S WORTH IT!!!!!!!
Really enjoy the class and I am learning a lot. For me personally I would like to move a little faster. I do not want to take to much information in, but I do feel like there is a little more I can learn in the 1 1/2 class. I would recommend taking his class.
this is going to be a blast!!!
5 seats left.....
Shawn Mullins has managed to reinvent himself over the last few years in a way that most musicians only dream of. He is an essential artist for this decade, not only for us here at 1055 the Bridge, (Radio Station) but for Southerners at-large.
If you missed him in the beautiful setting of the 2009 First Flush Festival, here is another opportunity to enjoy him in yet another of Charleston's amazing outdoor settings.
1055 The Bridge along with our great partners Ear For Music and The Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina encourage you to come out Friday evening from 5:30 -9:30 to see what we know will be an incredible show. Tickets are $10 at the gate, and we ask you to consider bringing a few dollars for the Ronald McDonald House of Charleston to help us wrap our week-long Radio-thon.

Hampton Park is a great place for the Plant Swap. Plan to spend some time smelling the roses.
Charleston, you better get ready! I am still hyped from his performance Saturday night in Greensboro, NC. and its now Monday afternoon. He is 52, looks 42, sounds 32 and dances as if he is 22. I pd $50.00 for my tickets second level in front of that huge stage, and i feel as if i owe him money!
I found Whispers online several years ago when I moved here from Ohio. I had made calls all over town trying to find a salon to work with me on the formula for my hair. No one was more willing to do that than Whispers. I found Becky who is my hairdresser and I have also had others for services there but Becky is my true blue! I love the staff, the service and I wouldnt go anywhere else!!
