A quiet outing for the kids. Inside the facility is a small gift shop (mainly books) and a museum showcasing the habitats and animals in the Awendaw area. Stroll across the outside boardwalk to the wolf enclosure or the woodland loop trail. Be prepared to see wildlife along the way like turtles, lizards, birds, and the occasional snake. The wolf enclosure has a shaded viewing deck. On hot summer days, the wolves are ususally in the shade of their doghouses and the trees and harder to see. However, one of the older residents often comes up to the glass to view the visitors! Neat to see an endangered species up close and therefore worth the trip.
I love working out at the facility. I had heard about them from several people who train there. They are top notch and their customer service skills are second to none. They are by far the best training facility in Charleston. I should know...I have been to the others. The do not come close to matching the talent and abilities that their staff has. I am very pleased to be a part of their school. I can only give the best recommendation possible for this location.
A fantastic local boutique. The service is amazing and the clothes are beautiful, trendy but with a classic you can wear them forever touch. The sales people are so friendly and helpful; they suggest the best clothes that fit your style, coloring, and shape and always let you know when items are marked down. One of the best unknown shops on King Street!!
This will be a fantastic place to spend the 4th of July this year. The Coppertones know how to get people dancing.
Just say NO to GUITAR CENTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you want guitars, amps and other gear at TRUE discount prices, go talk to Mike Davis, the owner of Ye Olde Music Shop. I've been buying from him since long before the evil Guitar Center came to Charlie Town, and Mike's always hooked me up with great prices! Before Guitar Center, he would always beat the Musician's Friend(Enemy) prices by leaps and bounds. Example given from a recent purchase: I purchased a fully loaded Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 with Artist Package (better than 10 top flamed maple, real leather display hardshell case, Brazilian Rosewood fretboard and headstock veneer, Paua shell bird inlays and Paua shell PRS signature in the headstock, Dark Cherry Sunburst with Dark Cherry stain on the rear of the body and neck). The cheapest I could find one of these new online anywhere was $3600.00. I purchased mine for $2799.00 plus tax. This is cheaper than the 10 top Custom 24's at Guitar Center!!! Go see Mike, trust me!!! Will "GLiDE" Mims
Muddy Waters has delicious coffee, friendly employees, free wireless internet, and a comfortable atmosphere. The owners are very kind and down-to-earth. Please support local business owners, rather than huge corporations :)
Beautiful and convenient location for pilates, Nia, and yoga! I love it!
Re: “Cafe Medley”
This place is the BEST addition to Sullivan's Island!!! Coffee and espresso always hot, rich, and delicious...sweet treats are AMAZING, I don't think I've ever had a better piece of cake (coconut and carrot...can't wait to try the red velvet, they were out last time I went!). There used to be no where on Sullivan's to get a great latte and dessert, now there's a cute little cafe to do both! And I won't even go into how welcoming and wonderful the girl who owns the place (Michelle?) is. She even remembers what I get when I come in and I've only been there a handful of times! Oh yeah, they do WINE TASTINGS on Wednesday, often with live music, I can't wait to go to one!
