I love my local library on King street names Dart Hall… The young lady named Patrice that did story time is no longer there but we miss her a lot. The atmosphere is very family driven they are so nice there. I always get greeted so sweetly and treated so kindly. I still remember the day when I came in there and the ms. Patrice was in the back with the little kids doing songs and dancing. After it was over you would think she would be tired and walk away but she gave each child a hug when they were leaving. I loved when they do the movies on Saturday. Some times I come and then I have to leave. Also I love that I can always find something to read or the head librarian and Patrice would find something if I have nothing
This library may be small, but the people who work there make it special. They are ready and willing to help with anything you're looking up. I've asked for help on a research subject. After directing me to the appropriate area, the librarian would come back every once in a while with something that she had found in another location that might be helpful. Any book or movie that I want to get, they put in the request and get it quickly from another location. I don't even mind paying fines if I forget a book. They are always so friendly and I know that the money will go to buy new items for the library. The children's programs are wonderful and usually small groups. The librarians and other workers really make this library a special place for everyone who walks through the door.
Yes, the workers at this library are awesome. During my brief trip, the librarian working the counter insisted that the book I had reserved was not available, contrary to the information I had obtained online. After a minute of back and forth with her I went to the back and pulled it off the shelf. Maybe the librarians should use the system available to the public.
