It's too bad that it sounds like @CityGirl won't give this place another chance, the food was incredible and the quality was well beyond the price point! I tried a couple bites of everyone's plate in my party. The wild mushroom pappardelle was served in a light cream sauce that was just delicious with the sun dried tomatoes. The short rib ragu was just amazing. I had the filet of beef which was cooked perfectly to my liking and served with a nice herbed goat cheese that was just delicious when eaten with the beef. The beer and wine selection is great and the bartender made a perfect drink. Definitely a must if you're in the Mt Pleasant area.

My husband and I have been to Eurasia several times since its opening. The happy hour is fantastic: $3 glasses of good house wine and half off appetizers at the bar. The spring rolls were solid - obviously freshly rolled, stuffed with chinese veggies and served with two spicy dipping sauces. I thought the tuna-tartini was wonderful - the tuna two ways was cold and refreshing and the seaweed salad was crisp and briny. The ginger rice was perfectly seasoned. My husband didn't care for it as much as I did - oh well - more for me :)

On a second occasion we found the hot and sour soup to be tasty, with plenty of tofu and chicken served with a side of crisp wonton chips. The beef carpaccio was very good and the truffled egg salad on the side had amazing flavor. Unfortunately, the bouillabaisse was a bit lacking. It consisted of a few clams and large mussels, a few large shrimp and a couple of tiny pieces of lobster (so small they should not be listed as an ingredient). A piece of the pan fried "catch of the day" was served on top and did not mesh well with the dish. The sauteed shrimp and smoked gouda cake was the most delicious meal we have had there. The shrimp are large and cooked perfectly, and the grit cake was decadent. Other highlights of our meals include delicious homemade coconut gelato and the excellent/friendly servers and bartenders.

We look forward to returning to try some of the sandwiches - our friends are raving about them. We have heard that the burger is in the running for the best in town. I sure hope so!

I had the tom yum koong soup and the nam sod salad with pork, and my boyfriend had the ba mee pad noodles with chicken and a Thai iced tea. Everything was delicious and the service was great, but I took off one star because I think it was a bit pricey ($34). We will definitely return.

Spent an hour at the bar two nights ago, awesome experience, one of the classier bars I've been to in Charleston and the pre-prohibition cocktails are bangin.

Definitely my pick for a restaurant serving local ingredients and Lowcountry food. The servers aren't always the most friendly, but you get a lot for your money.

Love this place! The staff is friendly and accommodating! My family and I usually go in for an early dinner...the orange burger is our favorite! I was pleasantly surprised to find out they do half price burgers on Tuesday nights. Then today I learned they do bottomless mimosas on Sundays, which was a great treat for my girlfriends and I! We needed a place like this on our side of town, and I'm glad we finally have one!

Well made Italian food, nice atmosphere/location. Really nice wine selection. I'd say it lived up to our expectations, which were fairly high.
We agreed that we've had better Italian, but this is a close second.
There is room for improvement... our server rushed us and seemed disinterested in describing the dishes, for example.

Great place for a pint o' beer... good atmosphere for hanging with friends (4+ stars). The food is good, but not wow, fairly typical (3 stars).

I ordered a special that they had that included vegetables and scallops--my favorite. The dish portion was huge (gave me three meals for the price of one), and quite delicious. However, I did have to wait for a while because the first dish I received wasn't the one I'd originally ordered. Honest mistake, and the manager made sure that I was fine with everything, so the service was great as well.

Went on a Wensday evening. I have to say Im glad I did, though there were flaws. First of all the service was SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW. And I mean Slow. As an App I had the Mussles. The broth was fantastic, but were slightly overcooked. My wife had the Scallop Gratinee, which is exactly the same as Rue de Jean, though the Haricot Verts were better. As my main I had the Shrimp and Crab, which was wonderful, but didnt live up to the "spicy" label. Also, the dish it was served in had a quarter sized chip in it. After our meal we had the Creme Brulee, safe I know but a good brulee is a weakness of mine. and it was good. Overall worth a trip, just expect to take some time over dinner, and longer waiting for the check

We ate here for the first time because it was close to the movie theatre. We will DEFINITELY go back!
the starter bread was delicious - had to stop myself from gorging on it.
I had a simple parmesan crusted chicken breast with field greens on top. A small plate (figuring on popcorn later, you know!) and it was perfect! My husband had the seafood mac and cheese - the shrimp were PERFECTLY cooked. Most places overcook their shrimp - and it would be easy to do in a casserole type dish. These were wonderful.
Our friends had a chicken pasta and shrimp and grits. Both loved them - We were all members of the clean plate club!

Pretty decent service - but really, we were there before 6:00 p.m. - the restaurant was so not busy. We thought the prices were reasonable, too.

I said to my husband and friends, we can go back - and not even if we're going to a movie! This is high praise, as we live on James Island and this is slightly out of our way!

Saturday night was a rockin' dance scene at Molly Darcy's with The Sneakers Band. The recently renovated pub (old Meritage) has a nice patio bar in the back and a great "people-watching" patio in the front. Didn't get a chance to eat but I'll be sure to go back for some Irish grub. The owners were present and super accessible to guests.
As usual parking downtown can be a nightmare, i.e. stuffing rolled up bills in a slot in a shaky little plastic phone booth type structure in the dark was not much fun. However that's not the Pub's fault. I do wish the City would install machines that spit out a receipt to place on your dash like Roanoke VA does. But that's enough "skyebabble"...

rayjay is a pissed-and-bitter out-of-towner who was so juvenile that he pouted and asked for the remainder of his dinner order to go and did not leave a tip, even after the staff explained the situation to him (I was a regular local patron at the bar that night as well). This is an awesome hangout and highly favored by locals and visitors alike.

It is wonderful to see a locally-owned restaurant in Summerville serving healthy food options. Summerville needed this! On my visit, I had a tasty strawberry and field greens salad. The two who joined me for lunch loved their dishes, too. Looking forward to going back!

Some of the most legit BBQ in charleston. Wednesday is rib day, definitely hit it up! The sides are stellar and the cornbread is soft and moist. Didn't need any sauce at all, i did put some hot sauce on the collards though, mostly because i can't have a meal without hot sauce...

We visited Uno Mas on a Monday evening and they weren't very busy. It was our first time eating there, and we had seen a few bad reviews online, and some good reviews. We didn't know what to expect. But, we loved it. My husband had Spicy coconut shrimp (served on a grit-cake) and I had Mexican Spaghetti (fettuccine with a tomato-cream sauce with shrimp). The flavors were wonderful. My husband ate every morsel of his, and I brought home a small box because I couldn't eat it all and didn't want to waste a single bite. Please don't believe the bad reviews. We had excellent service and an enjoyable experience. We will be going back and recommending it to our friends.

Lunch menu is excellent! If you like it spicy, this is the place. I've had the Jumbalaya, Shrimp Etouffee, and BBQ sandwich. All were great. My only suggestion for Cheri's is to stay open later! Hard to stop by and pick up something for dinner when they close at 6. Extend your hours to 7 and you will probably see more business.
