Re: “Grindz Burgers & Brew

This is the place to get great burgers and occasionally a beer. Every time I have gone my burgers have been great! The location is tucked away in a rundown shopping center, I drove past it 3 times before I actually found it. As far as the decor inside, its nothing great!! The decor is bland, bright lights in the dining area, fake flowers, cheap tablecloths, no pictures, no uniforms, and radio is always playing.
As far as the food goes, I don't care if I'm eating on a cheap tablecloth with fake flowers surrounding me, I'll eat there again and again. Now if I was going out for the night to grab some drinks with a few friends, I would go somewhere else.

Re: “Triangle Char and Bar

Definitely the burgers are awesome! I ordered two, one for there, one to take home (the yank, the hot shit) and both were awesome and juicy. I like mine pretty rare, and it was cooked wonderfully. However, another member of our party ordered a medium rare and it came out lookin fresh outta the grinder. They took it back graciously though and fixed him a new burger. I was impressed by the beer selection, though I admittably don't know much about that...It was loud and busy and the waitstaff was only okay, but it's a burger and bar joint - i expect that sort of environment. The hostess was a little flighty, and the to-go burger was plainly forgotten about - but they got it straight to me. I would def go back, and rank it as the best burger place I've tried yet in the area, though the service could use a slightly happier personality.

Unique flavors of wings and they are delicious! My fav is the rasberry sauced wings. The staff is really down to earth and friendly. I'd avoid dining at lunch. I have heard the service lacks at that time of day. Great low key spot for evening!

Re: “Sesame Burgers & Beer

I've been to Sesame about a ka-billion times. While I don't eat a lot of beef, I can vouch for the salivation reflex that kicks in among my friends when I mention this place's very name over their burgers. I love their turkey burger and the bean patty. I love the sweet potato fries. The staff is remarkably friendly, welcoming, and stable (low turnover is a very good sign for a restaurant). The bottle beer selection is terrific, and while they only have three drafts they rotate quality beers... no Bud handles here! Parking is plentiful and it serves as a fine gateway to the Park Circle string of tasty restaurants down East Montague.

I just wish they'd bring back live music.

Re: “Grindz Burgers & Brew

Had dinner there Friday night with friends....the place was packed! Such a refreshing change from Amuse, which looked like a ghost town all the time.
Service was good, our waitress was attentive, and made some great recommendations. Our burgers were HUGE and delicious.
This will be a regular stop if we need our meat fix!

Had lunch there this past Saturday. I had a bleu cheese burger and it was very good!! Home made chips were pretty awesome too and the service was excellent!! And the decor is very nice.

Re: “Sesame Burgers & Beer

We left the high priced confines of Mt P one night and headed to Park Circle for a much needed change of scenery.
First stop: some grub at Sesame. What a great place! Friendly staff, unpretentious decor, great beer selection, and best of all....awesome food at uninflated prices. I had the "Down South" burger, and it was fantastic! One word of caution: here, you can order your burgers any cooking temp. you want. I ordered mine medium-rare, and had to scoop out the very very center, as I think I did hear a faint 'moo' from it. This didnt deter me from gobbling up the rest, and wont stop me from returning....next time I'll just say "Medium"!
Highly recommend visiting this little 'burger joint' that is truly a gem!
