My favorite pizza place, hands down. I highly recommend "The Nacho."
Beware, this place only delivers on the actual island. Unfortunately we decided to order from this place Sunday night. The associate took our order and we gave our address (we live in Avondale). They told us delivery would be approximately 25 minutes. 30 minutes later they called us back to tell us that they would absolutely NOT be delivering to Avondale. We spoke to a manager and were told that they "don't cross bridges." ...Apparently they burn them!
The storefront is tiny and minimalist, but there is outdoor seating, and so many options on the menu that you probably won't even notice. It seems like the cooks here will put just about anything on a pizza, often in surprising and delicious combinations. I've been there twice so far and I can't wait to go back. The pizza (or calzone, or sandwich) is made fresh to order and if you sit inside, you can watch them throw the dough, load up your toppings, and pop it in the oven.
My buddy had a Bradwell calzone that was a weird but tasty mix of flavors including fig preserves, apples, pecons, blue cheese, turkey sausage. I've also sampled the white Room pizza (delicious white pie), the Big Z (awesome), and Ciao Ciao (pesto yumminess). I live in the neighborhood, so I am stoked that they deliver.
The White Album pizza rocks! Huge salads loaded with grilled chicken as well. Been ordering there for years.. I admit they are inconsistent with the pickup times on orders that you phone in.
Some of the best crust in town, as well.
Pizza's OK, but it's Kiddie City...
Excellent gyros and pizza. Extremely nice staff. Would have given it a 5, but the cleanliness of the place isn't the best
HI my name is Thomas petsch and if you think you have had better pizza or you have ever watched a better american pizzioli then be shure to check me an the old man alex out at giovannis pizza on the market u neva seen nobody throw pizza like me I promise love Thomas
Funny how the person who wrote the review who "knows" food and does this for a living disagrees. Again, it's great, great, great!!!
DELICIOUS and FRESH. If you can not be pickie for one night than it's perfect. No additions no substitutions on the menu. Very innovative style pizzas.
Good quality food, good veggie options, nice atmosphere.
Fresh, local ingredients really do make the food taste better. Great for lunch and happy hour!
Our new favorite pizza joint. They offer a wide variety of specialty pies, as well as build-your-own, not to mention pasta, calzones, sandwiches and salads. We tried the Carolina Blue pizza (mozzerella, Canadian bacon, salami, tomatoes, onions, and blue cheese) this weekend and it was terrific! We much prefer giving our hard-earned dollars to locally-owned businesses over national chains. Give them a try!
Very nice designer pizza ,fresh, fresh ..........
Best Pizza Ever. Period.
i was hoping this place would be good as i work close by - it just misses the mark. it feels hollow and cheap....and if the food was good that would be one thing, but it not The pizza sucks....
When I went I loved what I had! I didn't like the chairs but hey the food is great! I love the potato salad and their Italian Wrap. The pizza I tasted was also wonderful. I would recommend it and will be going back.
Man vs. Food ??? Try Man vs. the Dough Re Mi gyro...
the biggest gyro i have ever seen.....and oh so good. perfect hangover cure, and impossible to eat the whole thing. Best gyro in Charleston hands down...
First time trying the food from here: had delivery pizza after a day of unpacking the moving truck. What we got was a yummy pizza, big slices, loaded down with pepperoni, sausage and ham.
Would defintitely recommend!
when i ordered delivery the driver told me it was much better if eaten at the restaurant because the pizza and crust get steamed in the delivery box and it isn't as good. I'm glad they were honest, i will drop in for a fresh slice soon.
