I love this place. Food is great and the owner is so nice and just lovely! They also have free WiFi so its a nice place to drink some coffee or eat your lunch with your laptop. I ate there today and the food was delish!
Park Circle deserves and needs a great coffee shop. Unfortunately, Richard's is not filling that need. The atmosphere is stale and not inviting at all. The self-serve coffee setup with cheap plastic cups is not found in any other reputable coffee shop.
Didn't this operation fail once before? Why not try something different this time?
Purchased an iced coffee here recently. When I entered I was surprised at how hap-hazard everything seemed. The decor was a mix of mismatched artwork and food items such as half opened loaves of bread, canned items, etc. I placed my order for a "specialty coffee" drink and was told by the nice lady behind the counter that I would have to wait for Richard (the owner) to return because she doesn't know how to make those types of drinks. I waited 15 minutes and was about to walk out when Richard returned. My drink was flavorless, watered down, and over-priced. With the recent influx of new restaurants, bars, and new home owners you would think that Park Circle would be able to not only support but demand a top drawer coffee house.
Groovy place with nice folks
This little cafe is about to be little no more. They are moving to where D&B's Cheeseburger's used to be behind Walgreens, a few doors down from Mondo's Delight and Terrie's Sports Bar. I love this place and excited for them to have a bigger place to serve more locals and tourist at. They have an amazing staff, who are all so nice and sweet. I hope this restaurant continues to do well and even better once in its new place. If you have not tried them out please go and do not waste anymore time. This cozy laid back atmosphere yet superb customer service along with amazing cuisine is what I think to be the best on James Island. Rooting for this Cafe all the way!! Love this place! Keep Going and make it happen!!
We went to this coffee shop once and it took a long time to get our coffee, we looked around and watched what was going on....I am in the restaurant business so I always watch whats going on....the coffee we got was not good at all...my boyfriend is an avid coffee drinker and he couldnt even drink it...we noticed that the sausage biscuit was jimmy dean and put in a microwave...interesting...
there was only 2 people working and neither seemed to really know what was going on....very cute little place...we will give them a 2nd chance b.c. things happen...hopefully it will be better next time:)
Really enjoy this coffee shop. Excellent, consistent coffee, friendly folks and when the weather warms up, the courtyard can't be beat with live music on the weekends. LOVE it!
Felt a responsibility to set the record straight for this Cafe'. I am a friend of the person with the user name MASTERCHEF. He just got fired from the Cafe' and when complaining about it told me and some others he was going to bash them on review sites. I was curious so looked. I think that it's wrong. He has some attitude problems going on even with some of us so I am sure it was probably why he got fire but I am not sure on that one. Anyway, just trying to hold down some foul play.
Fun place to get your coffee! The best coffee in town. Great servers and of course the noshing goodies!
You should have known better. What do you expect from a place named Cafe Kronic?
I hope you're feeling better.
I agree with KristinB! It's not worth your time or money. The food I got was horrible, and didn't even have half of the ingredients that it was supposed to. The employee behind the counter was completely rude, and the owner didn't bother to do anything about it. 0 Stars!
Don't bother. Coffee was ok, but our bagels for our bagel sandwiches were stale as can be. They were advertised as New York bagels... tasted like they took 2 weeks to get here from NY.
They have very good hot chocolate, but pricey.
Hard to find, but worth the effort. There's more than coffee...Good healthy food!
Excellent service worth every tip! Try the French Kiss on special during Sunday afternoons and happy hour - it's the most amazing cocktail.
Simply the BEST Southern Pecan coffee in the world. I buy it in bulk!
strongly recommended, warm atmosphere and friendly staff (with wi-fi as well).. how can you beat that? don't miss out if you're in the area :)
