Ayarkay - yes, noon...where are you seeing 10 am?
From the group/event:
In celebration of the 200th anniversary of the publication of "Pride and Prejudice," we will screen the 2005 film version of the novel, featuring Keira Knightley. Refreshments provided. All are welcome. Screening to take place in Bishop Gadsden's Blackmer Hall. Meet and greet at 1:00, film to start at 1:30 PM.
Madra Rua's page says this starts at noon, not 10 a.m. Clarification?
Why has there been no review from CP for this play????
I cast serious doubts upon the notion that any locals who'd care enough to protest such an event are cultured enough to know who Dawkins is.
To be so young "Barefoot Movement" is a lot further down the road than any of us at the Charleston Music Hall were expecting...And then somehow those notions became moot as these four youngster began to levitate around a single microphone before our very eyes. And Ms. Noah Wall...this singer, songwriting, fiddle playing person in the band...Ms. Noah Wall...Why do I get the feeling that we will all remember the night when first we beheld...Ms. Noah Wall...She may be the sub-five-footer to be a lottery pick in the NBA...That girl don't sing she skyes.... Boy, I sure can't wait to hear some great TEDx talks about how technology is going to change the underlying paradigm of the internet zeitgeist by actualizing social media into an ethereal concrete shape of unprecedented power that will allow more people to step up to the technological plate and take a piece of the pie that we will grow through the use of ideas that shape and mold our concept of what ideas really are and what they can be and how powerpoint and large video screens will bring democracy to the Middle East, end hunger in Africa, and keep the profits of tech companies strong.
Live music tonight, Sunday Feb. 24, featuring Mike Larsen's Classic Memories Big Band for the party!
Art is now as culturally devalued as it could be.
Really looking forward to this show!
Saw it opening night - great story - funny moments, well acted - oh, and there's a bar in the lobby too!
Yea...'cause the only thing less tired and trite than Valentine's Day is zombies, right?
Neither one of these bands is metal, at all. One is more indie and the other could best be described as Americana.
This is the worst organized festival in my life will NEVER go again! First the traffic going into Boone Hall was moving at a snail's pace or slower, cops didn't given a damn. People cutting into traffic left and right. After an hour sitting in traffic on Long Point Rd, it took another half an hour to get thru the boone hall entrance. Second you have to park in a grass field fill with horse feces stuck to your shoes and tires. Once inside all the food stands had no organiziation, you couldn't tell where the lines started people were cutting and cursing left and right. The worst is when we got to the oyster line (if you can call it a line) it was like over a thousand people squeeze together no organization at all. It was like everybody was begging for free food! There was no exit you had to fight your way back thru the crowd carrying your bucket of oyster (if your were lucky to get one). We never got our bucket of oyster after waiting over an hour in the mosh pit. We got to the front of serving tables but once we were there the girl up front said " we are all out of oysters on our side you need to move over to your left side to get your oyster. How the hell do you shift over 1000 people to your left when everybody has been moving forward for over an hour. Why couldn't the staff move their lazy butts and bring buckets of oysters over to all the people been waiting over an hour! So we were like efff this, there is no way we are getting oysters. So we left the line after over an hour waiting. We ended up eating nasty burgers and cupcakes because the other vendors ran out of food! We paid $30 to get in got $40 in food tickets! Thats $70 to wait hours in traffic, stepping on horse poop, waiting over in hour in a mosh pit for oysters and never getting any, and eating burgers, cupcakes, and drinking $2 mountain dew from a can that only cost 25 cents! I would have been 1000 times happier if I just went to Captain D's that Sunday.
Update: this class has been postponed to Sunday, February 3 from 3 to 5:30pm.

Re: “The 14 Presidents Before George Washington”
Never again assume that I don't know who Peyton Randolph is.
