Just going from the picture, I bet there's nothing short of chlorine gas that could make this show worth seeing.
HELL YES!!!
ha! now thats entertainment. body rolls body rolls. can't wait.
Between this and the First Friday event at JLINSNIDER which starts around when this one is ending, it looks like a great Friday night for cheapskates!
Due to the possibility of rain, the Jam has been rescheduled for next Sunday, February 26.
This just in: The Flat Foot Floozies are also playing after the V-Tones of Charleston! See ya there, kittens
we feel very fortunate to be a part of this group of amazing restaurants and chefs participating in this event. Thank you to the Mccraddy's team for birthing and organizing this event. For our dish, B&b is preparing Arepas with Legare Farms pork. We are also making the same Legare Farms eggs that we serve at brunch available for purchase through B&B, at $4 per dozen. Buying these eggs is a great way to eat local and support the farm, and is an especially useful resource while the Farmers Market is dormant. Can't wait to see you all there and thank you City Paper for helping publicize this fundraiser. Keep in mind that all of the food served is being donated by the respective restaurants and 100% of the proceeds will go to the Legares.
I've been saying a long time Rickey needs to C'mon down from the hills and play for us here in the low country....well he's here and Charleston is in for a Carolina Home boy Treat. Don't miss it!
Who is this person and why is this an event? My aunt is having her birthday dinner at Red's in Mt. Pleasant next week...can that be in the city paper too?
There will be something for everyone. Looks like the weather will be great, we can't wait.

This band is was unbelievable! I am a huge music fan and I like Midtown alright but most of their bands are not that great. This band was only three guys but they sounded like 5 or 6 and the singing, guitar playing, and drumming was some of the best I've seen downtown in a long long time. The number of styles that they played was stunning. The song list was also one of the best I've ever heard in Charleston and they just kept the hits coming all night. It also didn't hurt that they seemed to draw mostly mega-hot girls to their show who all danced sexily in front of the stage the whole time. Honestly one of the best bar-band experiences I've had in many many years. I can't for the next show! Bravo!
tickets available at www.charlestonhippodrome.com get them before they sell out!
Doppelgänger was awesome... The day camp kids should stay in N.Y. And play to kids in hospitals. 30 minutes of pure yawns and not one laugh.. Not one! I've heard funnier things said at funerals. Charleston organizers do yourself a favor and do Not invite them back next year... It reflects on you
This show is at Charleston Pour House tonight (Fri, Jan 20) at 8pm, not Pure Theatre.
Back in 1962,I met Tennessee Williams on the week he was on the cover of Time Magazine. He was in Miami for the film Premiere of Sweet Bird of Youth. He invited me and a friend to a party at his Key West home. I declined, because I heard they might be smoking pot there. A few years later, I was living in the Haight-Ashbury and joined the Summer of Love party there... and been smoking pot ever since! STELLAAAAA!
This stand-up comedian goes insane at The Comedy Store in Hollywood! He strips and does push-ups while acting out a scene from the mini-series "Roots"! : http://youtu.be/NmggEE7xpn4
ALSO the date is wrong above, it's Saturday Jan 21st!
This event is a blast and for a great cause. Also this year they will be serving FlyLine Wine which has been donated and is fantastic! www.flylinewine.com
