Hm, according to the St. Thomas website, this event is not scheduled for this Sunday, but for the following sunday, 12/13.
Open jam is a great way to spend Saturday evenings enjoying wonderful varieties of music and great company. Each week students bring new and improved talent to the stage for their audience. Not only do students learn how to play through lessons, but Open Jam and the staff have helped build self confidence in these rising stars.
"...faux-Marilyn Manson makeup..."
Well, hello, dated-as-fuck reference. Glad the Chicago Tribune is so goshdarn hip to what the kids are up to these days.
I have so many questions about this image alone: http://media1.fdncms.com/charleston/imager…
Any idea when this starts??
Way too crowded. It was a friendly crowd, but that's Charleston (thank goodness). They need a bigger area for this event (someone in line suggested James Island park). Long lines, spent 80% of our time waiting in line, another 10% on bus back and forth to parking. (And the rest of evening regretting going to this event.) The entire time we were there it was unclear where what was. Couldn't they have a map on display? We got in a few lines, just to get something to eat, not knowing exactly what we were waiting for. I didn't see more than about 6 mac and cheese choices. Food ticket sales tables needed to be set up to be run more efficiently. There were a decent number of people with kids and strollers, but I saw very few older people and nobody in a wheelchair. The ground was on the verge of muddy so would have been difficult for accessibility anyway. There were overflowing garbage cans. Fortunately most people did put their trash in the garbage cans (the Charleston crowd). (Over)spent $42 for two people. Disappointed.
Traffic on Folly was backed up to Camp.
Why don't they do these runs in the sticks somewhere so they aren't so disruptive?
A tremendous sucess, I'm my opinion.
Especially enjoyed the band Outervention.
The company that put on Poe Back from the grave went out of business in 2014. However there is a Poe performance this year on Oct 23rd-25th. I included the a link below.
This retreat is now available for $990! An amazing opportunity to work with TWO coaches, eat all organic and stay in a luxury villa by the beach for three nights!
This event has ended. Please remove.
After rescuing a mama & her 4 kittens, Taylor & Sadie gave me supplies & advice. I raised the babies for 3 months. Mama was FIV Positive (so I kept her) but Piggy,Busta,Chief & Bubba were negative for FIV & Feline Leukemia. I kept Bubba as well & thanks to PetHelpers wonderful Spay/Neuter Program, I was able to afford to get Bubba fixed, his shots & a Microchip! Mama is getting spayed next month! Piggy, Busta & Chief were quickly adopted( in 2-3 weeks)& that thrilled me! Just before turning that 1st litter over, I found their cousins! I fostered them for 2 months. Big John,Oscar,Eddie & Munchkin were fixed on 9/15/15 & Oscar has already been adopted! The last 5 months, with a houseful of cats & kittens were the happiest of my life! I love all the babies & I couldn't have done it w/o Taylor & Sadie (& everyone else, like Tessa!)& PetHelpers! If you want to give a Forever Home to a dog, kitten or cat...go here! You'll never regret your decision to adopt a pet & you'll enjoy getting to know the terrific people who work there! ❤😻👏
Daisy, Confused ? Just look between your legs. that will tell you what you are. feelings are fickle, so don't use that to find out . You are either Male or female. Nuff said.
Beautiful speaker, and his book "arctic dreams" is very elegantly written.
Is there any Edgar Allan Poe related entertainment this October Charlston 2015? What happens to "Edgar Allan Poe, back from the grave"?
Worth the price for adults?
Extremely funny show with great set and costumes.
I missed this event....maybe next year
I would love to see the show, but haven't got a hope of affording tickets. Yay theater.
