To kick off the Charleston Comedy Festival a free stand-up comedy show will take place at Red’s Icehouse. The show starts at 8p.m. Wednesday, January 18th. Seats will fill up fast so get there early and have a drink and a bite to eat.

If you’ve been hiding under a rock the past couple of days during this nice weather this makes you, one; weird, and two; oblivious to the fact that Charleston Restaurant Week starts Thursday, January 12!

We’ve been having a hard time trying to choose from all of the savory restaurants to write about, so instead we’re just going to show you all of them and let you be the judge.

Here’s how it works:
Over 100 of the Charleston area’s finest restaurants (most of them nationally known) will be handing out 3 course dinners for more than a reasonable price. Depending on the restaurant prices start at $20, then $30, and then $40.

My best advice is to make reservations as early as possible. Everyone usually books up. So be wise, deal-seekers, be wise!
