It's not as big as catching the Governor "Hiking the
Appalachian Trail" with his Latin lover, but catching
former state representative and (until Monday)
assistant attorney general Roland Corning in a
downtown Columbia graveyard with an 18-year-old
exotic dancer and an SUV full of sex toys was almost
as good. When he was in the General Assembly 20
years ago, Corning was the point man in the GOP
battle to keep abortion illegal. Read the whole sorry

How is this possible? It is mind-blowing to me how immoral the leaders of this state are. I honestly do not understand what is wrong with South Carolina. What happened to the pornographer in charge of public schools?
Just another RINO. These are really left wing liberals posing as conservatives. Palin has pushed the plunger of the present RINO infestation of the Republican party by dissing the republican candidate in NY Dede Scozzafava and supporting an independent conservative - Hoffman. Hoffman is now in the lead. Now if we can just get her to work on Graham!
There is nothing more entertaining than the hypocrisy of moralists, caught living Married With Children lives while preaching Leave It to Beaver virtues. Their far-right social views, including the belief that abstinence-only sex education will hold their children in check while they are against all of the government entitlements (welfare) that support their unwed mothers and their retarded or deformed children. You can’t have it both ways, make a CHOICE (no pun intended).
There is no possible way that the SUV was full of sex toys. Do you know how much cubic feet of silicone and vibration motor that represents? A good reporter would have informed us as to whether that "full SUV" was with the second and/or third row seats folded flat. The real story is in the details. Fundamental journalism... dead as ever.
How many sex toys is one individual allowed to own in SC? In Alabama I think the legal limit is 8? Or maybe that's Texas? Tx/Al--each the moral equivalent of the other.
