[embed-1]During the Washington Press Club Foundation Dinner Wednesday, one of those Beltway dinner-roasts, U.S. Sen. Tim Scott went there with a joke about the now-infamous photo of senior Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway kneeling on a couch during a meeting with historically black college presidents in the Oval Office:

Has anyone seen the controversy around Kellyanne Conway and a couch in the Oval Office? Come on people, you remember the ’90s. That couch has had a whole lot worse things… Come on now.

Watch the full video of his remarks, which, beyond the Bill Clinton joke, includes a few snoozers and a few funny quips.

Scott’s line is certainly a groaner, but it’s not nearly as inappropriate as the gross joke made by Congressman Cedric Richmond (D-La.) just a few minutes later, which refers specifically to kneeling on the couch.
