As soon as Vice President Joe Biden makes his way from Charleston International to the Columbus Street port terminal this morning, you'll be able to hear his speech here via White House live feed.

Biden will reportedly be joined by new Secretary of Transportation Anthony Foxx, who previously served as the mayor of Charlotte, N.C. as well as the state's Republican Gov. Nikki Haley.

The veep is on virtually every short list as a potential presidential candidate once his boss' term ends in 2016. Just this weekend, Biden spoke at the annual Tom Harkin Steak Fry, fending off questions about his 2016 candidacy and conspicuously omitting any mention of his highest-profile potential Democratic primary opponent, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, while praising the current secretary, John Kerry.

It is worth noting that Biden served in the U.S. Senate for decades with both Harkin and Kerry before ascending to his current post. Biden last visited S.C. in May, when he spoke at the annual state Democratic Party's Jefferson-Jackson Dinner.
