Democratic Parties in the South have banded together to form the "Committee of the South." SCDP Exec. Dir. Amanda Loveday quoted. [Politico]

Longshoremen working at the Mount Pleasant and North Charleston terminals walked off the job Thursday over a labor dispute, forcing a federal judge to issue an order to halt the stoppage. [P&C]

Charleston Law students had a chance to talk with CSOL and InfiLaw officials on Wednesday, hours after the school announced it was beginning the process of selling itself to the company. [CRBJ]
