UPDATE, 1:55 p.m.: Police are reporting road closures in the following areas:
• Fishburne/Orrs Ct
• Lockwood/Brittlebank Park
• Line St/Crosstown
• Line St/President
As expected, there is some flooding on downtown streets after this morning's downpour. According to a Charleston police spokesman, the roads were "pretty good" after high tide at 6 a.m. this morning, but at 12:45 p.m., there were reports of flooding in the following low-lying areas:
• Huger St (from King Street towards Rutledge Avenue) • President Street near the Crosstown • Hagood Avenue near Fishburne Street • Smith Street near Morris Street • Keats Road near West Oak Forest Drive (West Ashley)
