All for Liberty at the Terrace

8a8a/1243279776-rrp_080914_1326sm.jpg I met Chris Weatherhead and Clarence Felder for the first time over the weekend. The three of us were hanging around talking to actors after seeing PURE's Sheep's Clothing. She reminded me their movie, All for Liberty, is playing at the Terrace Theater and that it had just won some prestigious awards, a nice bit of validation for a movie made entirely in Charleston. By the way, you may know Felder and not know that you know him. He was born on St. Matthew's, S.C., and has credited parts in movies like The Last Boy Scout and TV shows like Dallas, Hill Street Blues, Baywatch, and Matlock. All for Liberty is set in colonial South Carolina and tells the story of his forefather, Henry Felder. It shows at 1, 3, and 5 p.m. at the Terrace. He also performs with Chamber Music Charleston in a performance of Beethoven: His Women and His Music (pictured with Tim O'Malley) on May 30-31 at 9:30 p.m. at the Circular Congregational Church. Show some love for the locals. -JS
