Heroic Jim DeMint Takes the Battle to Audit the Federal Reserve to the Senate Floor

Posted by Jack Hunter on Mon, Jul 6, 2009 at 11:37 PM

South Carolina's own Jim Demint takes Ron Paul's fight in the House to audit the Federal Reserve to the Senate floor - and they ain't having it. It should be noted that DeMint joins self-described "socialist" Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders in sponsoring this bill. Once again, the "far" Left and Right meet - and are opposed by the "moderate," mainstream establishment:

I feel that this is an attempt to upset already the unstable people in the world. I say we have too many other issues in South Carolina and they should take presidents over these non important issues. I feel that in this state we need strong leadership that realizes we have much needed jobs due to high unemployment.

There is NOTHING more important than getting control of the money supply back to the people. it is the removal of this control which has transferred the purchasing power upward to the banks, wall street, and big government. It is the enabler of welfare, war, and growth of the police state. It is the foundation of the immoral house of cards that will end in the collapse of our currency and ultimately our society. More important issues? I think not.

Just the latest outrage from the Left! It is like shoveling crap against the tide. Senator DeMint is certainly our champion, and tireless in his fight to bring sanity, and accountability back to Washington. We salute your efforts in this valiant, and frustrating battle. We are behind you all the way...on the ground, doing what it takes to ensure Liberty prevails, over tyranny!

It has been stated that only 20% of the American people understand the importance of uncovering the criminal activities of the Fedreral Reserve. That leaves 80% of Americans licking their Michael Jackson dolls before they fall to sleep at night. Historians still ponder why the jews walked into the ovens without a struggle, but the 20% don't!

I agree, in order to even begin repairing this economic disaster, we have to address the sickness not the symptoms. The Federal Reserve is the sickness. It's arbitrary control over interest rates and our money supply is what has caused this mess. People don't seem to realize that the Federal Reserve is actually more of a criminal organization. It is a private bank and there is absolutely nothing to ensure that they act in the best interest of the US. In fact, Ben Bernanke bailed out his own companies! That's a grievous conflict of interest. In addition, the Federal Reserve makes loans to the Federal Government--you know what they use for collateral? You and Me! Apparently, slavery is ok as long as the government does it.

Not to mention that the "Federal" Reserve is UNCONSTITUTIONAL! Congress is shirking its duty by turning over its responsibility to the so-called Federal Reserve--it is not Federal--it is PRIVATELY owned!
Thank God for Ron Paul and Jim DeMint who have the courage to stand up and do the right thing!

You want to know how much power and control the Federal Reserve Bank has over the gov't. and people of America? The Federal Reserve's predecessor, The Second Bank of The U.S., charter extension was vetoed by Andrew Jackson. Result = Jackson is the only president in the U.S. to be censured by Congress. Who do you think is pulling the senatorial puppet strings?

As an outsider looking at South Carolina I only wish we had more Jim Demints in Congress looking at the criminal operations that is the Federal Reserve. If you can get your second senator on board with your calls we out west will try to do our part!
