Lindsey Graham, McCain Join Obama Transition Team

Posted by Greg Hambrick on Fri, Nov 14, 2008 at 9:58 AM

Um, I was kidding when I said Graham was angling for a White House appointment. Well, at least mostly kidding. Here's the release from the Obama camp:

"On Monday, President-elect Barack Obama and Senator John McCain will meet in Chicago at transition headquarters. It's well known that they share an important belief that Americans want and deserve a more effective and efficient government, and will discuss ways to work together to make that a reality. They will be joined in the meeting by Senator Lindsey Graham and Congressman Rahm Emanuel."

Is Graham incapable of doing anything without McCain anymore? Are the surgically attached some how? Does Graham remember that he has a severely neglected state down here? Or is he too busy chasing his dreams of political superstardom?
