The Charleston County Vice Squad has left the hookers on the streets for a few nights, getting online to find the 21 century ladies (and gentlemen) of the night.
"Sometimes they would place ads that had "hump day" special for Wednesday or they'd change the spelling to make it more erotic... come see me and spell it not c-o-m-e", an undercover detective said.
What's most telling about the story is how amateur this amateur prostitutes were.
After making contact on Craig's list they'd arrange a place and a price via email, texts, or over the phone."You actually solicited the services of these prostitutes? yes, how'd it go? pretty successful", an undercover detective said. "Fishing in a barrel? pretty much", he added.
Come on. You're giving working girls a bad name. For those interested in "further research," the Live 5 link above gives you an easy primer on seeking out these illicit exchanges.

It seems to me that law enforcement should have more to do than wasting time on prostitutes. I didn't realize that this country is so devoid of criminal activity that it's next line of attack is prostitutes, remember it IS the world's oldest profession. If law enforcement want to go after some real criminals they should perhaps take a shot at all of the crooked polititians that abound. There are probably more of them around than prostitutes and all they do is make your life harder after promising time after time that they'll make it so much easier for you, they lie to your face and pat you on the back for a vote, now there's a real prostitute.
