President Palin Has 1 in 3 Odds

Posted by Greg Hambrick on Wed, Sep 3, 2008 at 1:43 PM

Politico is reporting that a man John McCain's age has about a one in three chance of kicking the bucket list in the next eight years. It's about a 15 percent chance he won't make it out of the next four years. The story notes that Obama is six times more likely to survive his first term as president.

One could argue that we wouldn't be talking about McCain's age if he'd picked Pawlenty or Romney. But the counter argument is that, had he picked somebody else, we wouldn't be talking about the Republican ticket at all.
