Conservation Group Make Primary Picks

Posted by Greg Hambrick on Mon, May 12, 2008 at 2:36 PM

The Conservation Voters of South Carolina announced their endorsements this morning for the June 10 primary. The group says it made those decisions based on candidate questionnaires, interviews and analysis.

"This diverse group of candidates demonstrates that conservation is not a partisan issue to South Carolinians," says Executive Director Ann Timberlake. "Voters are less and less concerned with whether candidates are red or blue – the public wants ‘green’ candidates.”

Here's the local endorsements:

Dwayne Green, D, Charleston Senate #42

Clay Middleton, D, Charleston House #111

Joe Bustos, R, Charleston House #112

Can't get any greener than voting for Hillary. She is working so hard and voice hoarse from constant speeches. She spoke of making cars greener and higher mileage as well as utilizing modern technology to help stop greenhouse gasses... She is very close friends with Bill Clinton's Vice President, Al Gore. Personally I voted for him. Obama is being a copycat and just picking apart Hillary's ideas he didn't have any until she started speaking. Listen to her... This isn't a bash Obama blog. He just isn't seasoned enough to know how to take care of the emergency we live in with all the crisis ,war in Iraq, and getting people jobs as well as well. She isn't one dimensional like Obama is right at this time. Please whatever you do we simply can't afford McCain, he will continue no business as usual and even keep the war going... He might be a good army lieutenant, but we need too much more than that. The economy will get worse before it gets better so keep this in mind. HILARY You Go Girl! Never Give Up. No campaign was ever won on complacency, and your voice though hoarse will heal... Have some Raspberry Zinger tea with wedge of lemon and honey Take deep breaths. I am praying for you... You are our only hope for the world This City is so looking forward to see you speak and hear your wonderful ideas on Being Green as well as your many many ideas. You will and need to be cheered so here's that shot of energy without burning anything at all. America Loves Hillary... Keep a trekking, honey. Love, Bob Brown
