Just in time for Earth Day, the Terrace Theater and Magnolia Plantation and Gardens are hosting a special screening of the latest Disney wildlife documentary Bears on Sat. April 19. The live-action film follows the brown beasts around Alaska as they go about their day-to-day lives.

And there may not be real-life bears at the Terrace, but there will be small critters. Chris Smith, director of Magnolia Gardens Zoo and Nature Center, will bring some wild animals to the lobby for two different demonstrations, one at 1 p.m. and the other 2:30 p.m., half an hour before the screenings of the film. The animal demonstration is free with the purchase of a movie ticket. And if you hold on to that ticket, you’ll get $1 off admission to Magnolia Gardens if you use it before April 30.
