DeMint's talking riots again, says he's only one of 15 conservatives in the Senate

This is what happens when politicians — left and right —  court the more extreme sects of your party, in particular the, um, entertainment agitprop newsmen. In an effort to please the interviewer — to show them that yeah, I'm on your level, I'm a cool guy who sees it like you — the interview subject mommentarily forgets who they are and begins spouting off all sorts of half-thunk dimwittery (save that for the idiots like me.)

Well, Sen. Jim DeMint didn't get that memo. He recently spoke with Adam Bitely at Net Right Nation. Here are some excerpts from the Monday, March 2 report.

First up:

The three Republicans that went into the negotiations with the Democrats did not represent the Senate GOP.  They represented themselves.  They played the GOP for fools ... There are only 15 real Conservatives in the Senate.

Next:

I still believe that there could be riots.  Most will be small, but I think there is a chance that we can see some large ones.  Small activist groups do make a difference.

I hate to see it but I have predicted another civil war in the U.S. for more than 35 years. The politicians have continued to spur on the clash between the races as it buys them votes and keeps them in power. I believe that one on one, there is very good integration and cooperation between most people white and black. However, as groups we are still at odds because of government programs and laws which are touted as protecting and bringing equality are really nothing more than tools used to keep the rift open and widening. Equality means just that, no special programs for one side or the other, no special monies for one side or the other, no set aside programs for one side or the other. If it is for equality, then it needs to be applicable to each individual black, white, brown, yellow or whatever, based on their individual needs and qualifications for assistance etc. Also we need to close our borders to illegal entry and get a baseline set for the population of the U.S. Children born to illegal immigrants on U.S. soil should not be anchor babies for illegals. Ilegals should not be provided with free, everything just because they are on American soil. If you don't put into the system, you should not be able to rape the system and have others pay your way. Take back our government in 2010 and 2012 and let's get America back on track as a respected world leader.
