Watch Mitt Romney lose South Carolina

Oh, Mitt, you've worked so hard to win the support of GOP supporters in South Carolina. As far back as 2005, you were routinely visiting the state and cuddling up with the GOP overlords in the Upstate. When you changed your stances on civil unions and abortion, some say you sold out to the fundamentalists in the Palmetto State, a move that horrified many of your constituents in Massachusetts. You didn't care what your Bay State supporters thought — you even mocked them and their traditionally liberal ways, from time to time. And for a while, it looked like your plan was working; victory in the South Carolina primary was a strong possibility. But then you blew it at last night's YouTube debate. Seriously? Do you really think anyone who flies the stars and bars would vote for a Mormon to begin with? Mitt didn't loose any support, but he did botch a chance to appeal to the sizable base of bigots within his own party.
