Gay groups: Get your name in the Gay Issue!

Don't assume anything. Check in now!

We have some really exciting features in next week's Gay Issue, but one of the most important will be a listing of local resources for the LGBTQI community.

We do our best to scour our local connections and find all these different groups, but someone will inevitably be left out. Don't let that be you! Email greg@charlestoncitypaper with the name of your organization and contact information for someone in charge or a link to more information online. ASAP!

Someone with your attitude should be avoided.
People that talk crap about gay's , the various races, and all the other unfotunate stereotypes society loves to create are the ones that ususally have the most doubt about themselves and self worth in society.

Grow up and learn to live with your gay neighbors.. It petty thinking of that nature that will keep America a divided nation. I have several gay, and minority friends . They dont force their likes or dislike on me because I accept them all as the great MEN & WOMEN that they are. You deal with them everyday in places you'd never imagine . OMG freak out a homo may have cooked that last meal you ate, or fixed your car, Or cut your hair, etc !!! GASP !

Get over yourself .. JEEEZ.

Whatever dude, you will remain lost in your narrow minded world.

What would you do if you needed help from a fireman , or paramedic . or in a hospital and the nurse or Dr. that saves your life was Gay.

Would you rather die ???

Gay and lesbians work side by side with their straight co workers everyday and you would never know or suspect most of them.

I've worked at the same place for 12 years and no one ever knew I was gay either, till about a year ago when I told the ones that asked. And no one gave it a second thought. Im still here and still treated the same as the last 11 years....



Im just as masculine as the next "straight guy" and Im sure way more MAN than you could ever hope to be.

It is not about whether you are a big muscular person, a doctor, or any other type of person....It has to do with the unnatural nasty things you do and that you insist that every one accept your pervertedness.....Not excluding the fact that you are at high risk of spreading HIV to your parteners and to anyone that comes in contact with your blood or certain other secretions.

No, you can never be the MAN that I am....I have never lusted for another man!!!

It has nothing to do about LUSTING after a man or a woman, it loving and caring about another individual. The media, and porn kings have all given the world the worst impressions of gay and lesbian people. We cant help that we are attracted to members of the same gender. we were born this way. So if you have a beef about gay's and lesbians talk to GOD. maybe we're his way of population control. And as far as illnesses . The HIV thing started when a straight guy screwed a chimp. No thats perverse...

I dont chase after or lust after other men , Im not like some of the straight horndogs I see chasing after women. Some of them are down right gross.. There's bad in everything my friend, as well as good.

and as far as diseases, I have none. You honestly come across as someone that has had a bad experience at sometime in your life that has made you angry or even doubt yourself. Im being honest and serious here , IF thats the case see k some help. its confidential and it may help.

No ones perfect man.. try not to hate so much. no ones forcing our lifestyles on you.

We're the ones that take the verbal and sometimes physical abuses over who and what we are.

Gay's and Lesbians are their own minority, Just like Black's, hispanic's asian's etc.

Take care my friend.. I hope one day you can see things in a different light.

One question....How would you feel or say, or do ..If a son or daughter, niece or nephew came to you needing to be open with you and needing your acceptance, What would you do ???? Would you or could you push them aside ? Or would you still love them the same ?

Thanks for the "sermon"..........I have no hate, I have had no bad emotional experiences...No self doubts....I have been successful in life and have children and grand children.....I just think that sex between people of the same gender is wrong.....

I am forced to tolerate many things I see as wrong....There is nothing I can do about these things except express my contempt..

To add to my last post: I love my brother and several male friends so much that I would give my life for them, but I never wanted to have sex with them.
