City Paper's annual Gay Issue May 11

What stories or profiles do you want to see?

Posted by Greg Hambrick on Mon, Apr 25, 2011 at 4:15 PM

Just in time for Charleston Pride (May 14), the City Paper will be publishing our sixth annual Gay Issue on May 11. We've got some great features planned, but we also want to hear from you. Any good story ideas? Are there local LGBT folks we should be profiling? Let us know at greg@charlestoncitypaper.com

Hi
My partner and I just visited Charleston for the first time in March. We are thinking of moving there but, while looking around see so many family oriented neighborhoods we are wondering where do the gays and lesbians live down there - is there a gay beach? - we know your out there even the Citadel has a gay-straight alliance

How about an article - the gays next door

Hellhoundforhire....I went quickly through the link you posted with considerable disgust...We need our gay community to put on a similar show on Marion Square....Many people here don't know what being gay is all about.
