Nick Jenkins contributes tunes to a documentary

Road to Catan is a 15-minute film about the boardgame Settlers of Catan

Try as we might, it’s hard for the City Paper to keep up with the notorious Nick Jenkins. Last week he began his sound experiment residency at King Dusko, and now word is out that he contributed sounds for the documentary Road to Catan. enkins also collaborated with Hearts & Plugs label mate and friend Ashley Hopkins to create the nerdy, synth-strewn soundtrack. The two heard about the project from the film’s facilitator AnnaMarie Vu, “scientist, health enthusiast, musician, artist, collaborator, and all-around beautiful person,” Jenkins claims. Vu assembled all the parts for the 15-minute film about players of the board game Settlers of Catan. J
