To get your live music and philanthropy on at the same time, check out MUSC LIVE!  this Sunday. Ten groups of musically talented students and doctors from MUSC will be hitting the stage at The Music Farm.  They've gotten creative with band names like Primary Sex Chords, Voodoo Doctor, and 1/5th Hungarian.

The downtown venue will be opening the doors at 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 18 for the charity event benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project, Camp Happy Days, the CARES free clinic, and mobile clinics servicing migrant workers. Local businesses including Taco Boy Downtown, Halo, Kudu, and City Lights will be donating prizes for guests to take home.

One lucky winner will win free tickets to the eighth annual First Flush Festival, which features the Avett Brothers and others at the Charleston Tea Plantation on Saturday, May 24. Buy your tickets online or at the door, and come enjoy some tunes and donate to a good cause! Tickets are only $5. musicfarm.com
