Now that Snowmeggedon and the Icepocalypse are both behind us — and the Ravenel Bridge is open once again (we think) — it's time get outside and enjoy the sun. It's time for spring. And you know what that means, the annual Spring Jam in Brittlebank Park.
This year's Spring Jam will feature 10 bands, including earnest indie poppers Augustana, country rockers the Wild Feathers, y'allternative's the Weeks, and indie rockers the Kopecky Family Band. A host of local and regional acts will also be on the bill, from the Dead 27s to Brave Baby, Columbia's Death of Paris, and Boone, N.C.'s Possum Jenkins.
Sponsored by 105.5 The Bridge, the Spring Jam Festival is set for Sat. March 29 at Brittlebank Park. Tickets are $25/adv, $30/door. Attendees are welcome to bring blankets, umbrellas, kids, and folding chairs. There's no need to bring food, though; a variety of vendors including Kickin' Chicken, King of Pops, and Bay Street Biergarten will be on hand to sell their grub.
