Flatt City
While great craft beer is always the main draw to the annual Brewvival beer festivals, live local music plays a nice role as well. This year, co-organizer Jaime Tenny (of COAST Brewing Co.) booked three Charleston acts for the festival’s side stage.

Ukulele-driven quartet Local Honeys — multi-instrumentalists Rachel Kate Gillon, Sarah Bandy, Brad Edwardson, and Camela Guevara — will play a twangy swingin’ set of acoustic originals and standards. 54 Bicycles is five-piece combo comprised of Mitchell Davis, Brent Poulson, Ryan Jones, Stratton Moore, and Reggie Smith. They handle a funky mix of their favorite Widespread Panic songs and related material. Bluegrass/folk ensemble Flatt City — Chris Robinson, Stephen Schabel, Keith McCullough, John Irwin, and Michael Bruner — play plenty of mountain music, old and new.

Presented by beer shop Charleston Beer Exchange and COAST Brewing Co., Scheduled for Sat. Feb. 25 at the field across the street from COAST (1250 2nd Street N. in Noisette), Brewvival will feature more than 35 microbreweries from around the country from 12-6 p.m. on Sat. . Food vendors will be on hand as well. Tickets to Brewvival are available for $50 in advance. Visit brewvival.com for more.
