The fifth annual Reggae on the Creek bash is set for Sun. May 15 at the Muddy’s Bar section of Vickery’s Bar and Grill (1313 Shrimp Boat Lane).
A springtime tradition on Shem Creek, the event includes barbecue, affordable Red Stripe lager, and live reggae and Caribbean rhythms from local groups Dub Island and the Dubplates and Dream Merchants Youth Reggae Band.
The jammin’ kicks up at noon and continues until sunset. A $5 donation is requested at the door. Proceeds benefit the Tanzanian Education Foundation.
