Taste of Folly on Center Street
This year’s Taste of Folly festival will feature two popular local acts. Set for Sat. Jan. 29 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Center Street, the sixth annual Taste of Folly is intended to highlight local restaurants and raise awareness for the Beach Management Patrol.

Food-oriented events throughout the day include a chili cook-off, a hotdog eating contest, a “Server-Lympics” contest, and more. A date auction will put Folly Beach councilman and businessman DJ Rich (of Planet Follywood) and local news lady Natalie Caula (of ABC News 4) on the block.

Funk/soul/rock combo the Louie D Project will share the main stage with local songwriter Nathan Calhoun.
