Hosted by the Tanzanian Education Foundation, the fourth annual Reggae on the Creek is set for Sun. Nov 7 at Vickery's Bar and Grill (1313 Shrimpboat Lane). The early evening evening will feature live reggae and funk on the dock at Shem Creek by Dub Island & The Dubplates and Dream Merchants Youth Reggae Band.

There will be specials on Red Stripe beer, rum drinks, and Caribbean dishes from noon 'til dark.

The nonprofit foundation provides the children of Tanzania an opportunity to receive a proper education and a chance to overcome poverty. Proceeds will go towards providing educational scholarships to the children of Meru View Day School in Arusha.

A donation of $5 is requested at the door. Visit tanzanianeducationfoundation.org for more info.
