Vintage Charleston “rock 'n’ roll party band” The Krushtones — featuring local singer/guitarist John Krucke (of Decorated Dirt), bassist Dave Kushubar, keyboardist Mike Murray, and drummer Dennis Davis — return for a 26th anniversary reunion weekend at the Sand Dollar (7 Center St., 843-588-9498) on Folly Beach.
The Krushtones existed in one form or another from around 1983 to 1993, and started doing these reunion weekends at the Sand Dollar around 2003. Look and listen for the 'Tones on Fri. April 10 and Sat. April 11.

Wow … did the someone from the Krushtone piss off Verb, Scully, or one of the other Uncalled Four some time back in the day? Helblinki — where are they tonight in Charleston? The Mill in North Chas.? That one must have fallen through the cracks, unfortunately.
I always kind of liked the uncalled four for their true punk attitude and clever name. I don't remember pissing anyone like Verb or Scull off but I don't doubt it could have happened, maybe over a woman or something, who knows, who cares....? Who is Art Rogue?
