The upcoming Third Annual Holy City Cold Heart Revival is a roots/Americana showcase set to take place on Sat. Nov. 15 at the Pour House. Featured acts include Justin Townes Earle (the talented son of Steve Earle, pictured here), Lindsey Holler’s Western Polaroids, American Aquarium, Shovels & Rope, Kentucky Shoes, Owen Beverly, Harrison Ray (and his Magic Ghost), The Barnraisers, and Quasiphonics.
“It’s that time of year again — another chance to save your soul,” says organizer Holler, pictured below with her band. “We’ve got a great, great line-up this year, with Earle headlining.” Her new band The Western Polaroids is comprised of Nick Jenkins on the drums, Ben Wells on the bass, Sam Sfirri on keyboards and percussion, and Bill Carson on
guitar.Justin Townes Earle’s Southern-tinged new collection The Good Life — his proper debut, release last year on Bloodshot Records — blends elements of blues, classic country, and vintage rock 'n’ roll.

My worry is always that these things are so expensive--I feel like paying $17.50 at the door to say "yes we did" is not in the right spirit of things. I'm going to host my own party, if anyone wants to do the same. Or come to my party..kidding.
