Yesterday Jeffrey Stoneberger shared his plans as James Island’s new Stereo 8 restaurant chef. Now Stoneberger says he’s not joining Stereo 8. Stoneberger sent City Paper a screen shot of his Facebook post announcing his departure where he writes:
“I’ve decided against joining the team at Stereo 8. This was a gut based decision that I have weighed with my friends and family. I wish Stereo 8 and the team all the best with their current and future endeavors. I want to thank David [LeBoutillier] for his amazing support and confidence in me.”
Stereo 8 owner David LeBoutillier could not be reached for comment.
